Nah, "the world's fastest Indian" is the best Indian film
He’s not lying
Cillian Murphy is a man of principles..
He hasn't watched any Indian crap, but has read the most important scholarly text there could be, Bhagwad Geeta..🎉
Nah it's not important at all. It's fairly tales text. And he read it for a specific scene for Oppenheimer. It's not like he was curious of hinduism or anything
Even we indian haven't watch that film 😂😂😂😂😂
Because Indians don't appreciate their own gems. Indians watch Sallu Bhai films.
Must watch film and it's the debut film of Manoj bajpayee sir
He read Bhagavad Gita because of his role in and as Oppenheimer
❤️🔥
Djimon Hounsou also worked with Shekhar Kapoor in the film The Four Feathers.
Maybe that's why Cillian Murphy 's brain has remained sharp 😂
His jawline is sharper.
Really happy to see he knows the director ❤
Such a misleading short. Did he say that he don't watch Indian films? No, he only said that he is yet to watch any one.
~tht cillian, tht man is jst so beautiful...those eyes ....!

As an 80s kid I grew up watching 1950s-80s musical movies with my parents. Kinda the same vibes.
Bro the problem is that only bad movies go out I am telling you in India people used to just copy and paste what work in abroad and give it an Indian touch like you said a lot of songs… most bollywood movies are just garbage but there are very few like Legends of Bhagat Singh, Kashmir files, Tashganj Files these are like some of the best bollywood movies and I don’t think that they have any songs and thus they didn’t do very well except the Legends of Bhagat Singh but it will be good to know something about how India actually got it’s independence not what people are told that Gandhi alone gave india it’s freedom without violence.
Even in don't watch Bollywood movies anymore as an Indian 😅. Their creativity has finished, they only copy others scripts now. The real creativity and originality lies in regional films of India.
Bandit Queen 👑 is absolutely gem movie ❤❤❤
Nowadays we indians also don’t watch indian films. Most of them are copies of foreign films that to without crediting original creators.
I dont know why but everytime Djimon Hounsou opens his mouth to speak, i feel like now he's gonna say "One Drunk man is more intelligent than 3 women with PHDs" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol has he actually said that
No@@KD400_
Even being Indian, I don't watch Indian movies..........
Who even watches corny Indian films?
Another reason Bollywood is famous in Middle East, africa, etc as they too are developing countries amd stories often resonate
Reading bhagwad Geeta is ♾️ TIMES BETTER than watching Indian films in which major films are like race 3 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank god cillian saved the peaky blinders fan's. Oreslse there will be songs and Shelby dance in each peaky blinders episode
Bro watch movies like Kashmir files, kerela files, tashganj files, tumbaad these are based on real stories. I don’t know who is suggesting all you the worst movies of Bollywood which don’t even make sense. Watch those movies these are only which come to my mind but these are good the direction and camera work and acting all are top class and no songs too. I agree that we only have only handfull good movies but these are some of the best.
I don't think there's any logic in mostly Indian films
Bandit Queen is a legendary movie
Bandit queen is the last movie i thought he'd mention, its a great movie tho but not really mainstream
Dijimon is just so beautiful❤
Bandit queen made me so,so sad. As much as once were warriors. You see esp. in the later the effect of rape on young women. It explains alot.
Cilian Murphy has great taste of indian movies that's why he avoids.
Imagine next time he come and someone ask him do you watch indian films and he goes ....
Muzhe hath milale surya
Gaddar se dosti nhi
Maara jayega
Apni soch
Sar par kafan badhne waale mauth se nhi darte
I’m Indian and I don’t watch any Indian films either.
I don't know why these interviewers who interviews hollywood actors always wants validation from them. Like, Have you watched any film, whom would you like work with, etc...
Very very very very....... underated director..... shekar kapoor ❤❤❤
Jab We Met? Come on, Cillian!!
Yuk
💩
Why is it terrible to say you've never seen an Indian film?
Yeah it's not, he's just being polite so I can respect that
What does it matter? Everyone has a blind spot in film appreciation. The caption on the video is null.
Indian films suck
You know movies doesn’t even have a competition with Indian scriptures 😂❤
Not even indians watch indian movies 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cillian Murphy doesn't watch Indian films but Indians are obsessed with peaky blinders 😎
Ofc bro Indian films Bollywood especially doesn't deserve a recognition worldwide. Just because India is a populated country, it should not mean world would revolve round india. Just like our foreign minister Jaishankar said 😂. But you should accept it because pictures are not that great.
@@talltreey1414
People can watch what they want.
Yeah, the world never revolves around India. A good part of them stole from India.
Im not.
Indians are always obsessed with foreigners because we suck at everything that's why most of us are eagerly leaving country 😂
So we are not supposed to my favorite singers don't hear indian songs so i will stop listening their songs 😂
Bandit queen is based on real life of Phulan devi, and is better than bhagvad gita. Where in a country books like bhagvad gita are read, bandit queens are born.
It is NOT that he doesn't watch them. It is the hasn't seen any. Very MISLEADING title here....
Especially when you consider that British TV is saturated with British and Hollywood movies. Indian movies aren't shown on mainstream television, if you want to watch Indian movies in Britain then you have to look for them
How is it misleading, he literally said he hasn't watched any
True. He hasn’t seen any is different from he doesn’t watch any . The title makes him sound arrogant and racist!
@@anoopsingh4825" doesn't watch " " Hasn't seen " .

It's not a terrible thing not to have watched indian movie, they are ask the same triangle no matter what genre....
What ??
Am glad that question at least got Cillian's attention 😊
You are healthier and wiser if you stay away from Bollywood crap! Stinks. 🤭
The other dude has a great taste of film, "bandit queen is a classic"
Is Monsoon Wedding an Indian film?
Yes, it is
I was shocked by the hand movements of djimon(timestamp 0.02-0.05 S)..but was relieved there was nothing in his hands.. Thankfully he was not inspired by jubaan kesari..
BANDIT QUEEN Movie is based on real story
I love Dhoom 3, the only indian movie I ever watched and it was subtitled in japanese, I was N3 at that time but could follow the story fairly well
Absolutely amazing that people from other countries watch meaningful indian movies but we Indians watch Indian movies that are meaningless.
Very nicely said…
Cillian Murphy straight head for actual director 😂
These are the Movies Indian Bollywood Industry should try make Like Bandit Queen , Paan singh Tomar ,omkara, Gangs of Wasseypur, etc
"black friday" and "no smoking" too
Indians living in their own world
Best thing dont watch any stupid south indian films 😂
TBH Bandit Queen wasn't an "Indian film". An Indian film would require an Indian producer or production company
He is me 😂
I don't watch bollywood movies
Okay people, Indian films ≠ mainstream bollywood/tollywood films.
The only thing that is better than reading Bhagvad Gits is not watching masala movies of mainstream film producers. Hope you get my point
Geeta is last thing someone would want to know

@@AmbitiousAlgiers That is his name, yep. He’s a fantastic actor. If we’re identifying people from the video. He(referring to he, that I addressed as, “he”, in my original comment). Is Cillian Murphy. Actor from Batman(Nolan’s), Peaky Blinder’s, Oppenheimer, Dunkirk. Both great actors. Haven’t seen the movie their in together. But have seen every movie you listed and would recommend them to all. Never seen a role where either of these actors present anything other than the best.

Indian Cinema died 30 years ago
With Satyajit Ray
The term art film just exists to differentiate between types of films and describe how they fit in the marketplace. It doesn't mean that they have greater artistic value, just that there's different expectations and goals attached to them.
Movies main purpose is entertainment and Indian cinema is famous for entertainment value
Watch better movies man , there are great directors in Indian cinema too (not in Ray's level , but good)
You sound like a 70 year old and a 10 year old at the same time. Satyajit Ray is an inspiration to look at, not a standard to be kept. There are movies being made in India that can wrestle with even the best of A24 at the moment. Either you are too young to not have explored all the movie industries in India, or you simply haven't tried. Whatever the case maybe, the level of inferiority complex you are showing is remarkable.
@@Sreerags5959 plz recommend good action movies like Hollywood and korean level

Bandit queen is truly a legend film. What a choice wow
Why the hell would anyone that’s not Indian subject themselves to watching an Indian film?
I love films, I'm Indian I've watched American films, Japanese films, Korean films and French films.
The same reason everyone would watch movies from USA, China, Japan, Or anywhere else: because they can/want to.
