Nice captures Jason and interesting drone shots. I haven’t been into the quarry since the mid-70s although we had friends in Nantlle for years. Thanks for the reminder I’ve put it on my ‘go back to’ list.
great vlog Jason. Love the drone footage, and that last shot. But would have liked to see it from a wider perspective to put it in context with the hills behind
Hi Jason I just loved the image of the drum house with the drone esp in B & W , and had a giggle when you said about the place you DJ @ all those years ago , smiley happy people 😃 .
Look forward to your return here Jas as it's been little touched by photography I feel. Great vlog made me smile at the start with the rave reference just the way you put it over 😃. Love the drone shot mind . 💪
Another great vlog Jason. Love watching your videos as they remind me of my college days when we used to spend a lot of weekends in and around Llanberis. I had forgotten all about Dorothea until this, very long time since i have been there. Keep them coming as love seeing the Welsh scenery, reminds me of home.
Oh wow mate I am now very excited I am in Wales this Saturday so I am going to look at this place wow. I’ll message you mate love the drone shot no I love them all to be honest haha
Very enjoyable mate! A nice change from Dinorwig, but looks like quite a lot of interest there and in the right light some great compositions to be found
Thanks David not as spectacular as Dinorwig but there were some unusual buildings in Dorothea i will return in better light....just watched your Neweborough warren vlog some nice shots of the tree and horses :)
Great vlog Jason, excellent images as well. Nasty bit of damage to your camera as well (don't forget, camera repairers, Black on White, 105 Coldharbour Rd, Bristol BS6 7SD) free estimates and guaranteed work with very reasonable prices. I am not associated with them, I just use them with my gear and I am really pleased with their work and prices.
Very nice! I love old buildings. Question: What do you mean by “bracketing”? Does that mean underexposed & overexposed? Or something else? Again, love the photos & the vlog. Thanks!
Hi Jason, great video and thanks for posting. 4 people didn't like this video but there are no comments below as to why. Now I might be old fashioned here but I think common courtesy would be to say "I didn't like this video because...".
I agree. I liked the video and the still images were awesome. I did find him a bit bothersome when he was talking to the camera but looking around like he was the lookout guy for a group of bank robbers! haha. Lovely footage though of the area. He is a talented photographer.
The 'weird things' are catkins on a Hazel tree; they'll turn in to hazelnuts, which is probably why the tree is next to the house. Stunning location, great shots as usual. Do you read the comments Jason as you don't seem to reply to anyone?
Where exactly is the old building. I can’t find it. Could you show me on a map? I parked at the roundabout and looked everywhere where the buildings start on the left
That camera is going to cost you, downhills, wind, ground don't mix well with cameras...loved the vlog..I must google this quarry it looks a great place for an image or two...martin
@@jasonjonesphotography610 Great spot, Ian remember the night well. Our lift left and we walked miles and ended up in a village police station smashed to ask the copper which way was bangor. He was surprisingly friendly. Ended up with my foot spasming but got lucky and blagged a lift with a lady in here landrover. Sat gurning all the way back to bangor with her sheepdog sat on my lap. Couldn't walk for the next week. Those were the days lol
Great photo and a fantastic place. The video was good to

Camera is insured to its gone off with the insurance company to get fixed.
Perhaps they will replace it with a new one if its too costly to repair, I wish you luck with that one Jason.

one question .. what is the backpack you are carrying ?
The link points to a different backpack.
Its the Evecase Extra Large DSLR Camera Laptop Travel Backpack
@@jasonjonesphotography610 happy with it ?
Can't really make out if it holds a lens like 70-200 ... does it ?
@@ArnolddeGans yes great backpack does hold a lot of stuff and the 70_200 easily
