I have a very painful knot or bump (the size of a quarter now) on the left top part of my foot about a finger below the pinky toe. This sudden bump came on suddenly within 3 days and the pain is so bad that I want to cry and go to the ER, but the stubborn person I am I'm fighting it and the pain is a sudden on set of a burning sensation that feels like when one has a broken bone. I have so many bone spurs on the top of my left foot, that I can only wear flats, which don’t offer arch support… I’m sure that’s making it worse. Thank you so much for this video. @Deb ... good morning, it seemed like I was in and out. I got there, they made me urinate🤦🏾♀️...iv's and as soon as I went into the hallway I was knocked out. I think they numbed my foot bc my big toe🤦🏾♀️was numb for like 4 days along with the top of my foot....it honestly doesn't look like they took anything out I guess bc the area is still swollen but take your meds on time...tbh the soreness is worst than the pain. By day 3 I had a Percocet/Naproxen high, by day 4 I stopped the Percocet....now my ankle hurts...so definitely ask for the Medical boot by your first check up. I'm a medium brown so the bruising was dark but it's gone now. You're going to be sore, try hard not to flex or bend your toes as much and as you scab(clean cut) use Neosporin and Cocoa butter to keep your complexion. I hope this helps. God bless.

It causes me alot of pain that radiates in foot. I have osteo, bone on bone knee and I had before surgery severe cervical spinal stenosis. I have lower back issues, but not diagnosed with anything there yet.

I have rolled my ankle over and over again for months playing basketball. I finally quit after a year and a half and I just now noticed this bump. Do you think my ankle just healed wrong? Or is it something more serious that has nothing to do with me rolling my ankle continuously?should I be this worried?

i play soccer and my foot got stepped on very hard and there was bruising, and then about a week later a huge bump appeared on the top of my foot. is this the same?

I’m predicting that mine occurred bcs I often putt pressure on my foot by crossing my legs when I sleep so my feet sometimes putt pressure on one another it makes sense since the bump Is directly on the spot my other foot goes ontop of. Since it’s caused not by my shoes will it heal if I do t cross my feet?

I'm 21 male in college. I think I have arched feet from my mom. I've got a small bump on the top of my right foot, it sounds like I've got the first condition mentioned. I don't have any problems running, nor walking with shoes, but my right foot gets sore when I walk with sandals which I think rub up against the bump. It isn't a problem but it is a bummer.
You don't talk about pain; does the cyst have pain more, less or not at all compared to the bone spurs. Personally, i don't think changing ones shoes is a good option for someone with a lump on the foot-both conditions you talk about are problematic and should be address/rectified. Better shoes and arch support should be added after the fact.

You should visit a podiatrist who can provide you with a pair of custom arch supports to put inside your shoes! You will not regret it!
