Summer 1988 and your mom has just rented the coolest new game for your Kingbit Entertainment System. As you play over the course of the day it becomes apparent something is different about this game than the other games you own.
Duck Season is a throwback to the golden age of 1980's gaming and movies with a hint of horror in a Spielburgian universe. Re-live a slice of childhood as you transported to an eerily familiar memory and play out the dark story that unfolds over a single day/night as your imagination takes over.

Okay, I didn't expect the survival horror aspect of this. I initially thought it'd just be a collection of mini games with an immersive menu area as portrayed by the living room. But this is much cooler. I can't wait to see the rest!

Wilson's Heart is horror for pansies
Wilson's Heart was not scary but it was a great game. I can do about 1 hour at a time of Alien Isolation and that's good horror, but it's no room scale or teleport so I get sick.

If it's the one that has 3 colors. Red, green, and I think blue. I remember playing with it too. Don't believe I owned it. maybe at a friends or possibly kindergarten. Oh the memories. Man that kindergarten had all types of toys. Friggen sand table(like a sand box in a table) one with water,a play house, and shit tonne of hot wheels tracks, and other shit. Good times.

Ok thats pretty interesting design for awhile I thought you guys were just gonna basically duck hunter Vr maybe some gags maybe some progression. Holy shit if this pans out you guys actually made something both interesting and unique.
Yoooo. that was quite the spin. i wasnt expecting that... I need to get into VR. Out of everything vr ive seen u guys do this just made me want to invest in VR setup. maybe because this was a major game in my childhood that i loved but i dont know. great job it look awesome.

Great trailer! I love all the cool references, but when I was watching at half speed trying to spot 'em all I noticed at about 12 sec you can see Duck Season is already on the TV before the kid puts the cartridge into his Kingbit.
I knew there was going to be something unusual about this game after watching your "Guns in VR" video because you mentioned your games will always go beyond the typical Wave Shooter...

I never noticed the dog costume cracking open the door and peering in. I didn't know this was gonna be a horror game. I am 200% more intrigued.
@BrandlonJLa Any idea to make it a little bit more creepy. Make the dog turn around and stare at you a second before you get thrown out the game. Maybe it would happen earlier if you shoot the dog?

This game is one of my favorite games inside the oculus rift! It's funny, but it knows when to be serious and scary when it needs to be! It's awesome!!!!!
man.. good times.. shit you not when you started making vr games i did as well. 4 years in industry creating VR sims and now full time phd doing VR its been a trip, really cant wait to see what youre working on next I really love the games!

Among the many games the kid has are "Triple Tiger" and "Final Fiesta II". Neat easter eggs. Wish I could read more of them.

I thought this was just going to be a duck hunt game but with that ending I feel like it'll be an interesting game to watch.

Looks pretty interesting. Starts off like a remake of Nintendo's "Duck Hunt", but then takes a real "Five Nights at Freddy's" mood. Being isolated in the dark, not knowing whats coming, that's what makes a great horror game.

Great trailer! It has such a perfect twist that perfectly wetted our appetites without spilling ANY of the juicy details. I don't know how the game will play or what will happen but I cannot wait to find out. Kudos Stress Level Zero!

Who said anything about fnaf? I mean it's possible but I have no idea where you got that idea from. The horror aspect of this game could be any number of things and there's no way to tell from this trailer.

bestieswithtesties fnaf has become so ubiquitous that almost everyone knows about. It's not surprising that people reference it in tandem with games like these. Honestly it's more out there that you'd say "who said anything about fnaf?"
That said, the portion with the flashlight really does give that sense of stress that fnaf invokes.
