Excellent video. 1st time viewer, Colorado resident, 50 year sports fan and longtime Deon fan. The hidden gem of our State, city, university and the most important, the great people associated, are no longer hidden. The biggest thing missing was a championship football program and the people have done what it takes to bring that about.

Josh, it is not hate but so much hype. The SWAC is not Div 1 in the CFB or is it Power 5, which is yet another level up. Hyping it up - aka blowing warm and fuzzy sunshine, may win you a popularity contest but it means diddly in the trenches of Power 5 football contests ... it just makes you a bigger target for the other teams! no offense but you will see!

I am a Native Coloradoan and have been a CU Buffaloes fan since 1975. I am not sure why people believe that Coach Prime will end up leaving Colorado and become the head coach of any Florida team it isn't ever happening. That ship has sailed!!!
I have followed Coach Prime his entire professional careers in both football & baseball since 1989, and he doesn't move like that, Coach Prime is a Trend Setter, not a Trend Follower, Florida college football had their chance and blow it, now he is going to make them pay with future CU Buffaloes Football National Championships.
Coach Prime is about to dominate the PAC-12, there isn't anything in Florida for Coach Prime otherwise he would be a head coach right now in Florida.
The one thing that is consistent with Coach Prime is his "Craft", he is the only college football coach with a Gold Jacket and Coach Prime is doing exactly what he needs to do here in Colorado because when he met with the CU BUFFALOES AD, it felt right. Coach Prime had other offers from bigger Conferences Big 10 & SEC, but it didn't feel right for him.
Coach Prime isn't about the money or fame he is about his Legacy, and Colorado is the perfect place for him to start and finish his college football coach legacy.
I know all the people in Florida keep wishing on a star, but Coach Prime is always moving forward, not backward.
When it is all said and done, Coach Prime will be the best Coach CU Buffaloes Football has ever had because of his long-term sustainable relationships that he is building with all the families.

Impressive.🤔 Coach Prime was the epitome of excellence during his playing days in the NFL, and I suspect that given the time to obtain the type players he desires, he will quickly be able to put an excellent product on the field. He said that also includes places the players go within the community. This is something we should all be doing, when addressing a person. When was the last time you went somewhere and someone under 25 was courteous and polite? Held the door for someone and used yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir and no sir? The only people hating and making stupid comments are those who are void of any understanding of what Coach Sanders is working to establish. They have a right to spit their opinions minus facts, but they simply do not have the capability to understand what is going on. To answer the stupid question on the video; He’s TALKING because he’s laying a foundation for these players TO FIRST WIN AS MEN IN LIFE!!! Over time this will manifest into tangible wins on a football field!
People perish for lack of knowledge and also when they allow their emotions to get in the way of what is logical!

The first part of your discussion encapsulates perfectly why I find so many discussions from fans so annoying. I don't know how many times I see someone say about a coach "Look at his record, he's trash" without any context in regards to his record. If you ask them to look at the program and where it was when he started and where it is after a few years and the progress they made they simply ignore it and point to the overall record. It's completely disingenuous and is as lowest of a common denominator you can get. Next year tells us a bit about Deion at Colorado but like you said, future years will actually tell you about him as a coach not next year.

You know, this guy’s tweet makes all of us SC fans look bad. It wasn’t two seasons ago our program was a doormat, with a 2-8 record and perpetual suck. No one, especially anyone from our school should ever be so quick to judge another program. We’re just now getting out of our football purgatory and are still fragile to some degree. I think CU has a great coach and will be more than just a happy story in 2023.

Whether turns that program into a national powerhouse is something to be seen. But just like anything else in sports. Deion is a name that gets attention and the benefit of the doubt.

That’s what the Glass-Half-Empty people say. Lets look at the Glass-Half-Full perspective.
College football is not NFL Pro level. Everyone loses players every 3 years so they’re all starting from ground zero or close to it.
Kirby Smart does what no other coach doesn’t seem to get. Kirby plays 2s and 3s all season. He said this is why Georgia never misses a beat and as he stated, “Our players are always ready when one goes down or leaves”.
Deion knows you have ti form a pipeline to sustain a successful winning program. He was a part of this philosophy in the NFL. He said, “The Buffaloes are recruiting from every state in the nation and out”. We are going to have the best players, coaches, staff, band, and fans second to none. Isn’t that what Jim Harbaugh also did his first year at Michigan? Jim set up try out camps nationwide and the narrow sited coaches complained bc they didn’t think or do the same.
Deion hasn’t let money be an issue with him. He told the school what he wanted and needed to carry out his plan and the University leaders said we are going to support Deion to make this dream happen.
The most fantastic thing Deion has done is call in some of his NFL buddies to lend their knowledge and experience to his program and his coaching staff is okay with this bc they increase their coaching capacities and knowledge.
The Buffs will be in the national conversations and that’s from my perspective of seeing the Glass-Half-Full and they will be in a bowl game. I venture that they will be knocking on the door for a Natty in 3 to 4 when they setup the full college playoffs.
When the conversation at the start of the season about rankings come out, the Buffaloes will be called out with the Bulldogs, Crimson Tide, Big Blue, Buckeyes, Trojans, Bruins, Irish, etc. at the start and end of the season
