Thanks a million... I have a 2010 528i.... thanks th o your video i saved close to a grand in parts and labor.. did the job myself... AND I DID DAMN GOOD JOB BECAUSE THE WIFE IS HAPPY!!
Great question, I beleive I have a good idea which 'big post' you are refering to. I used the vice claw tool, same one i used to remove other blades. Be sure to insert the nut and turn about one turn so the shaft that comes down doesnt slide off. Hope this helps. Let me know if any other questions. Thanks for watching
Hello, I need to remove the wiper arm first. Once everything is done, how would I properly put the wiper arm back on? Since a lot of force was used to remove it, would I just keep forcing the arm back down into place? Thank you!
Good video buddy, is helping me a lot, bad thing is that I have to work without removing the hood and I don`t have an extractor (jaws). Is there a way I can test the motor before removing it ?
Seems like your motor is fine since the other wiper moves properly. Seems you will need to replace the wiper assembly since one wiper works while the other lags behind.
MegaFlyman9 Haven't heard of this before but i would replace the motor and wiper assembly. Check out our website, we should have a complete wiper blade assembly/motor in stock. www.bimmermerchant.com

I know the engine doesn't need to be removed lol, but does the hood need to be removed to have proper access?
@bimmermerchant i know its 6 years later but when you put the arms back on how do you get it to rest in the correct position?
Should I do this if my wipers park in a vertical position?
sorry for late response. did you figure out the problem?

Question, how did you remove the big post from the bolt on the driver side wiper arm? It was there and gone between the first two videos.

My e39 wipers don’t work when it rains

Great video. I hear my motor running but wipers do not move. It sounds like gears are skipping and grinding. Have you heard of this before?

awesome. Good job. Morale of the story is, clean all the debris from your water draining channels.

You don't need to remove the engine lol. I replaced mine exactly as shown here the engine does NOT get in the way.
Yes, remove the engine & gearbox for access. 🤣🤣lol
Don’t actually, just a joke. 😀
Esta muy buena la explicación pero se te olvido el principio como quitar los plástico o no quiso explicar esa parte que es la más dificil
Just completed this DIY. My motor went out because rain water wasn't draining correctly due to debris blocking the channels.
This is how you do it on right hand driven or European coupes ruclips.net/video/k6KWisNYytE/видео.html
