Jill, my ears must be broken...I thought you introduced Bobby as Lobster92. What a great video! It's very helpful to see a side by side comparison like this. Both of your bags are so beautiful! I think both can be casual or dressy depending on how you style them and I agree that for a dinner or evening bag size does matter. Like you, my casual is ballet flats, not sneakers, though if I had LV sneakers like Yota that might change my mind. ;) Congrats to you and Bobby on your gorgeous recent acquisitions. Ha!! Fall and Lobster. Two nicknames down for the Fabulous Four and two to go. While editing this I realized that I started wearing sneakers last summer for casual wear, and I think my bag will work if I want to carry it while wearing them. Not sure. I prefer the classics: white canvas Sperry, Keds, Vans, or Converse over the luxury brands. But I live in ballet flats and even had ballet flat style sneakers at one point. Until next time! xoxo

I know right! It's a beautiful bag! I think the Kelly Touch only has an exotic handle which isn't very appealing. I do love the Picotin Touch though!! xoxo

Ahh...I see Birkin closes as well ....but still team Kelly ...lighter & one handle way to go 4 me ....shoulder strap or other straps advantage too
Agreed Lucille! If the Birkin's straps were set just a little wider and made longer then I could get them over my shoulder. It would look an awful lot like the Mulberry Bayswater though! xoxo

I love the retourne style too. If I ever get another Kelly I will go for a retourne in 28 or maybe 32. I'd have to handle a 25 before requesting one because I'm not sure of the size. They are beautiful in photos. What size is you Birkin? Which do you prefer? xoxo

@@DreamGurlOreo Oh the B25 is so adorable. I would love to know how the K25 retourne compares with the K28 sellier. They could be comparable in what they can hold.
In my opinion, I'd get a K28 if sellier and K25 if retourne. It's because the sellier is more structured so they fit about the same.
What are the weights of the kelly 28 epsom and birkin touch 30?
I don't know the exact weights but can tell you that in general the birkin weighs more than the kelly in a similar size because it has more leather and more hardware. Also the epsom leather is lighter than the togo leather. Hope that helps. xoxo
