One thing I love about Thuli since I've interacted with her a few times is that she loves what she does and protects her artists. She Wil always have my respect also for her work ethics.
DAMN WHAT A GREAT INFORMATIVE SHOW I HAVE LEARNED A LOT ALREADY. AND THE CLASS IS NOT EVEN OUT YET. MAC G WE APPRECIATE YOUR INITIATIVE. TO THE MANAGERS THANKS FOR YOUR HONESTY.
I love how Thuli came with a vantage point from the basics... This panel was straight fire... And that last question was fire. Taking it home for the panel
I feel like this would have been more informative if it was setup in a presentation manner. You give Sibu points to tackle & presents then the interactive conversation between the three happens after each one presents to expand on an already full presentation done. Coz done this way; there's so much that falls in the cracks and the other one keeps wanting to put in a word before the other one finishes - and it's not so easy to keep up as a listener. But we appreciate this typa initiatives especially as independent artists❤big up to AMPD; Old mutuals; MacG and the workshoppers
I think they went with an informal session because it complemets the format of MacG's podcat, in essence it feels like just another dope episode of the MaG show. There really was no need for formal presentations. We sit through enough of those during the week.
@@sabelo4816 it can be with that informal setup but with a more intentional point to point agenda. I'd rather sit through another seemingly formal presentation and get all that I could possibly get than sit through what's made informal but is bit of this and that. What's key is getting information and knowledge in full and exploiting what the workshoppers has to offer and have learned as much as possible in that short period
@@sabelo4816 you missed the point but that's allowed; it's ok. It's a workshop - by the meaning the word. Everything they talked about here fortunately I'm very familiar with and more through 8 years of being an independent artist and this being my bread and butter(also having studied marketing Communications which is relevant in more ways than one); that's how I was able to recognize that there could have been more - especially from the two ladies. And ofcoz I watch in hopes I learn something new but there are more episodes to come. I'm speaking more for those who don't have much of that knowledge; and don't have funds to "enroll a course" - which is actually exactly who the AMPD initiative is for. Love and peace to you❤✌
And Sibu didn't get to answer the psychology question "do you only look at it from an artist's perspective or do you also look at your own goals in the process of growing or building these artists?"
' As an artist, it's not your job to know about the business '... Bruh what!? It's important for an artist to know what they get themselves in to. We've seen the likes of Eazy E get screwed by their trusted managers and we don't want to make that list.
