A video on how you made the cabin extension and modified the cockpit would be awesome! Even if you don't have video from that project a slideshow of pictures and hand sketches with dimensions would great. I'm considering building a 21 and I want to incorporate your modifications from the beginning because they look awesome.
Beautiful videos. But what about sailing abilities of yiur modifications? Does the increased center of gravity and windage due to increased height of cabins, affect negatively sailing?
@@tikinomade will do! I'm now really curious about your center deck design. I ended up buying a Honda outboard with a 20 inch shaft, meaning I need to lower the mount by 5 inches below tiki 21 plans. Your deck looks similar to the tiki 26, without the boxes under the seat. I'm not sure how it designed, but I want to try something similar.
Maybe you could share your impressions and these videos with your friends in order to have a second opinion. The Tiki 21 is a great boat and you'll probably find someone to talk with you about this incredible boat.

The raised cabin tops really add huge amount of liveable space , nicely done !

The cockpit looks more like that of a tiki 26 and much more comfortable than the original design for a tiki 21. How is it fixed in position?
This cockpit is more comfortable than the original one. It's just fitted and tied between the two crossbeams.
Every time I see a Catamaran I think of Kevin Costner in Waterworld.
Same here. It´s a big reference of our imaginary. Nômade had some modifications, but nothing even close to that trimaran.

The changes are too small to make a significant difference.
I'm tempted to make that size cabin for my yet to be built tiki 21. Wondering how it will affect sailing ability here in rough seas Hawaii

It´s a good challenge. You know what you need to do, the Tiki 26 reference really will help you.
How much taller than standard did you make the cabin top.
Around 30 centimeters.

You need to see it carefully. Try to watch it again.
@@tikinomade just did and is exactly same nothing inside but a tiny cooker just a bare shell on water no good for long trips
