Very amazing, very cheerful, very professional ... even the sky feels happy watching this show, see the sixth minute how the sky was painted through clouds, the eyes to happy face😊😊😊
Always a beautiful sight. My dad used to take me and he would put me on his shoulders. British Nd proud of it always. Miss the Queen on Burmese her special black horse given to her by the Canadians. When he died in 2000 she gave that up because it takes many years to train them.
I was at the Major General's review and each of the bands was given a round of applause after they'd halted. The stands at the Downing Street end were very appreciative!
I always love their guard's uniforms it brings back my childhood days when I'm stayin in hospital. Their uniform, the buckingham palace and Her Majesty the Queen has a episode on Mr. Bean!
0:05 - The Welshman (Band of the Welsh Guards and Welsh Guards CoD) 2:13 - The Star of Erin (Band of the Irish Guards) 4:23 - Bolts and Bars (Band of the Grenadier Guards and Grenadier Guards CoD) 4:49 - Les Hugenots (Massed Bands) 8:48 - Twice the Man (Massed Bands) - A new march btw
Twice the Man, composed by Lsgt Ian Shepard, the Principal Tuba player of The Band of the Grenadier Guards. It is the first time a musician has composed a march for the QBP and played it themselves on parade!
Question, what order do the bands stand in on Trooping the Colour, does the band of the Regiment "Trooping" take centre position behind the Sen.Drum Major?
I believe it's Coldstream, Irish, Welsh, Scots, Grenadiers with the Senior Time Beater always taking his place in the Welsh Guards Band regardless his regiment.
was there on the 1st to see my cousin whos in the life guards , its was brilliant , but to it got bit hot and bit sticky to wards the end , but well worth it

I also got a really good close up recording of the band I was on the far left from where you are standing, Really good parade shame about the 3 Guardsman that went down.
Benjamin Whiley well it’s either that or well you don’t want to know, the passing out is better than overheating and dying so your body knows what is right
Coldstreamer17 Yeah, We normally get told the usual if Drink loads of water, Don’t lock your knees and wiggle your toes. But doesn’t always work. Still a good parade though.

No they don't! A Brigade of Guards band is much the superior for marching troops due to the more positive beat and I did serve in the Royal Marines so I know what I am writing about!
Terry Bridgend: I also served in an infantry regiment and marching out of barracks as a battalion in FSMO. ( if you are aware of what that means). The most important element of a Regimental military band is the martial beat to enable troops in the last company to keep step. The Brigade of Guards bands has this quality and that’s why they play as they do, so different from a Royal Marines band which is more a marching orchestra playing top quality music but has not the crispness and beat of a Guards band.
@@Peter-lm3ic marching order yeah yeah ... They're as crisp as any Army Band ... Go watch a few videos of the changing of the guard at Windsor ...watch them escort back to Barracks the guards ... They can do covers.

As we are forced to live in a world of utter and increasing chaos ...the Trooping of the Colour is truly wonderful to behold....Thank you
The Europeans know how to put on a parade and the Brits do it best of all.
Hats off to you in GB from the states, (the UP of Michigan.)
I'm loving being a British Citizen, from a very grateful Portuguese. (35 years)
riotagus Wellcome to the UK! England has a long friendship with Portugal that goes back centuries! May long it remain so!
Didn’t manage to get to the troop this year, glad to see you got a good video for me to watch! Must get there next year!

Great to see and hear without the frequently pointless commentaries from broadcasters.
Stephen Cook - That's because it was a rehearsal (a week before the actual event)
Marvellous, enjoying this musical spectacular from NZ, very much appreciated for the upload, also enjoying not hearing Huw rabbiting on👍

Lovely recording, thanks so much. Nice vantage point as well. Great close ups of the bands 👍🏻

Question, I saw a video of the commissioning parade at Sandhurst, and I swear they were playing the tune of 'Soldiers of the King'
Raphus cucullatus ok?
Nice video! We were also there! It was beautiful!
Crazy to think I was just there around the 18th, and this parade ground was already set up and ready to go! Wish I could've seen this live!

Long Live Queen Elizabeth II. I colonize this comment section in the name of the BRITISH EMPIRE.
Take notice of two things: 1. The Corps of Drums are now using harnesses and 2. The new quick march "Twice the Man" by the massed bands.
Coldstreamer17 the corps of drums are using harnesses?
it's ya boi Mozart yes, look at the CoD base drummers
Not to forget at 10:02 the Sergeant of the Band of the Coldstream Guards who is a digitalisation enthusiast ;)

Couple of Guardsmen down, during the Escort's advance....looks to be number 5 guard suffering.
SomeBloke8895 yes, the Scots guards
Shout out to the guy who fell over at 12:18
I bet he locked his knees.
Thomas Horsman - he fainted. They get very hot in those uniforms and will have been on parade for a long time so will be hungry and dehydrated.
