Just curious.. would it not be a whole lot easier to enter the intellilink / window folders and just copy the entire folder structure over to the flash drive.. then edit a (saved copy) I stress SAVED COPY.. do the editing on the copy and then transfer the updated copy back to the intellilink...... if anything fails you then still have the unedited file structure on your flash drive to effectg a repair...?
I have the same issue. Plus i messed up the pixel ratio and now my time and temp digits are messed up at bottom of screen, tho think this should correct once ratio is sorted

Hey Christopher, I recently tried changing the background image on my Intellink on my 2015 Vauxhall Corsa, everything was going to plan, I had the 800x400 images in FAT32 USB, went into developer mode, done everything as shown, had Opel_Home_Red.png and Grey for Day. Everything was perfect, I turned off my car, waited and when it came back on, the background didnt pick up my image and instead is just a black image for night, and bright white image for day as well as screwing up the time, by fuzzing out when it changes minutes. Any idea on how to get it back to normal with the little red background (maybe a reset or somthing) or how to get my images to work? Thanks
Yeah they are all written correctly. I've used Grey and Red for them and nothing works... My intellink is now screwed up with the numbers on the time and I dont know how to fix it. I have it as opel_home_red.png and opel_home_grey.png. Any help?
Update to anyone doing this... Ive tried doing it and something along the process went wrong or simply it didnt work as I done step by step as the videos states and it screwed my intellink system. Ended up having to go to Vauxhall garage to get it fixed. So in the fine print. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

When I try and overwrite it, it doesn't load or anything it just does it straight away and therefore doesn't work but I can see the file! Any ideas?

You have to disconnect the negative on the battery for a bit (like a min or 2) and connect and start up the car and it should work.
i turned my car off, went back in like 10 mins and it was ok
