who ever is planing to go to Ooty, choose Masinagudi road. 36 hairpin bend are there. That you can feel the speciality of Ooty. Watch my video, don't mind about background music.
It's nice to see that guard rails have been put up on the side of the road ... at least in some of the most dangerous places. Thanks for recording and sharing this. It's the place of my birth ... but I haven't lived there in 45 years, and would love to return!
Talk about a ride dowpn memory lane! This is great. I loved the fantastic eucalyptus grove, they're so tall. By the way, I also appreciated the care with which the motor-bike driver drove - avoiding the reckless car drivers going in the opposite direction. Well done.
Hi, very good Place.....I used to cycle from Gudalur to the spot where we take the Rt turn to Ooty...Almost 18 year in and around these areas.....After 20 year I took a ride starting from Nilambur --Gudalur---Ooty---Coonoor met by friend Nixon John ..Had lunch..returned same day..In two wheeler..Hero Honda.. I love Gudalur..
Emil, I wish I could say that it will be soon. However, our family is not in a strong situation financially at present. Perhaps, God willing, in the not-too-distant future.

My parents were American, and when I finished high school in Ooty, I returned with them to the States.
