UofL Dept. of Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Roberto Civitelli

Roberto Civitelli, M.D., Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Cell Biology & Physiology; the Sydney M. and Stella H. Schoenberg Professor of Medicine; Chief, Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases; and Director, Skeletal Disorders Training Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, presented "Sequential and Combined Therapies for Osteoporosis" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on October 13, 2022.
Dr. Civitelli's talk focused on understanding the current armamentarium of pharmacologic therapies for osteoporosis, learning about the mechanisms of action of different osteoporosis medications, identifying current challenges of long-term therapy for osteoporosis, and learning about the appropriate use of sequential or combined regimens for osteoporosis.
