When these guys are on their own they are absolute beasts. When they're on the same stage it is just unreal. Two of my favorite players right there. Thank you for posting this.
How right you are! There really is no one like him who projects such wildness and humor through his guitar. And of course Josh is totally amazing too! We are living in a lucky age : )
These guys..... These 2 have a chemistry that no other 2 have. They give mutually assured destruction on each other with wit, banter and skill. Such high level players. Thanks for these incredible moments Natasha ❤️👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ah the slide bar - Just a few miles from my house. Local watering hole for those in the know. I have been there just for the burgers. Played on both stages and love the atmosphere. These 2 are amazing together, ... the "conversation" between them on guitar is epic! I watch Greg on his RUclips channel "Live from the Orange room" for some Gristletime!
@@daviddalziel884 I have a custom shop 63 double bound 51 hot wound bridge pu and a tex mex, neck, and one I built with a chambered walnut body with red elm top and stock p90s are my two favorite I have ones with mini buckers, filtertrons, paf, bridge hot rail neck they all have there place ,and I love all of them, but if I could only have one, it would be my 63. I love the sound of but never been crazy about the vintage 7.5 radius neck. I like the modern radius better. One thing ive found over the years lighter weight teles sound the best.
David Russell thanks for the information . I have had an Ibanez Roadstar since the eighties-a super Strat style and originally had a three way switch . It’s a wonderful guitar with a super comfortable neck so looking for a Strat it had to be better -not just different-to compete . Played tons ad went off the idea but early last year bought a second hand deluxe HSS which has a 9.5 radius neck . Others with the 7.5 feel like a toy . It would appear that most Teles have 7.5 although easy to play they feel a bit odd . The quest goes on 😀
@@daviddalziel884 Dave my 63 tele is a custom shop, but I bought it used, and it was ordered all origianal spec. If you buy a newer americian or mexican standard tele, it will have a 9.5 radius. The mexican teles are damn good for a lot less cash, if uou can live without the fender logo on the head stock , I played a 60s classic vibe thinline squire the other day. It blew me away, it has a chambered nato wood body( a type of mahogany) nice and light and it sounded amazing, all the 60s spec except a 9.5 neck! And there only $449 new. Bet you could find a good used one for $250. Then you can have a tele with busting the bank. Good luck in your quest.
Danny Gatton stops by at about 8:00 in and I digs it lots! At 8:49 these two are so locked in I dont think I ever heard more syncopated gristly awesomeness !! woweee you watch this will get to the millions in views hopefully before Dylon gets grey:) I bet they never rehearsed any of this. This is TELE communion at its best
@1:14 I thought the guitarist was calling '4 sharps' for Greg and the bass player, as in E Major (or C# Minor) and I couldn't figure out why he was calling for that... And then they moved to to the 4th! Is there the very slightest hesitation on Koch's face just before he goes to the 4? If I was playing bass it would have felt right to go to the fourth, but I'm not sure that with that signal I might have hit an E thinking that he was calling it *because* it was unusual !! XD
As great as Josh is, I think GREG can outplay him. Greg is better than most guitarists on his worst day. He does insane and naughty things with his guitar, Just my opinion. They are both guitar masters tho.
Greg's personality comes through so clearly when he played that thing. Witty . Love it.
Two of the very best on the planet today in my opinion. Was lucky enough to see Josh twice last week. Sublime.

David Waldrop Guitar I agree. Two of my favs as well.
WAOOOW !!! fantastic !!!!
The harmonic Greg hits around 3:44 is just unbelievable - what a move!
Down pat!!
Greg starting his solo with one of the best Albert king impressions I've heard yet !
Greg always keeps em on their toes. No going through the motions when he's on stage. Such a cut up. Siliness! Love it

I was watching the drummer .....beast!
Shout out to the Rhythm section. Good as it gets and needs to be.
It would have been nice to see the bass player for a few seconds! Otherwise an awesome tune and awesome video.
Makes a massive difference
What, who?
Lemar plays drums for Joe Bonamassa and Demi Lovato.
I don't know who TLee is bassin' for but they're both top notch.
Without a doubt 2 of today’s best modern blues guitar players on planet earth... damn it’s gooooood!!!
Black & white for eyes, great guitar-noises for ears. Thumbs up!
Natasha makes it out to all the awesome shows. Thanks for sharing them with us!
You're welcome. Glad you're enjoying them
Two guys having a blast playing with each other
This is present day state of the art. I had been fantasizing about these game-changing innovators getting together.
My man on the drums is 🔥
Indeed, He drove it like a freight train, but he didn’t over play it.. Props to the Bass player as well! 🔥
They are both amazing
Two of the best playing today........ thanks for sharing
Great drummer too
Two of the best!

love the nods to albert🙌🏻
I need this, I dependent on this, I can't live without this!
holy shit!
these guys man
These two demons dragging me towards the purchase of a Telecaster ! Thanks for posting ! Yum Yum
Buy one, best elecric guitar ever made. I have 9 of them. All set up different, but a good stock tele can get any sound you want.
David Russell cheers , but which one ? A Baja ? Like Tele customs with the wide range humbucker and normal Tele bridge setup!

That was fun!
Super...!!!
These guys are two monsters! 💪🏾🎸🔥
Best of the best!!!!!!
What else can you say but, AMAZING!!! 💖
Colourful playing.
What a treat !!! Greg is just a monster on its own so this was very pleasant!!
F**k yeah!!!!!! Modern day guitar inspiration from masters......
Greatness ! Thanks Natasha ! 😎🎸👍
Thanks so much for the post. This is so so good.
Fav channel.

my idol to me.it is true.
By the way... I really like the Black and White. It gives the music more flavor. Thanks, need more from these two artists together.
That color does nothing for me.
But sounds great.
Agreed! I think its fantastic in Black and white. Gives a certain mood and feel
🤯🤯🤯🤯
super!!
Raw like a lion brilliant
Wow, that was great competition soloing - just loved it! ❤️
Damn!! That was awesome!!
Josh You are super 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
I can dig it! Fantastic in every way.
Shout out to the great Albert King and his infused tones. Good lawdy lawd, B.B. and Albert and the lawdy bunch of us LOVE this stuff. God Bless !!!
incredible TALENT !!!!
Incidentally, if you haven't seen Greg's Epiphone Sheridan 2 commercial, your in for a treat. Hilarious.
Einfach phantastisch!
the real freakin deal
8:50 is insane.
No doubt. Some random five-note improv pattern descending, and Greg comes in and harmonize is it on the fly. Next level
5.30pm Chill Music 4 Me In NQLD! ThankU! Awesome!!!
Wow, this is fantastic.
Both great players!! Know Josh uses .13's makes my fingers ache!!!!
os dois juntos e foda não tem pra ninguem kkkk muito bom
Awesome band ! Like the Jeff Beck influences in there. Bass and drums are a team within the team.
I heard the Slidebar Rock n Roll Kitchen has closed it's doors for good. It will be much missed, methinks. No more Gravy Fries.
07:33 woody woodpecker theme by Greg.
6:30 onwards. Two guys having a conversation in the only language everyone can understand
both great players for sure bit Josh i like his meaty tone
Righteous.
Bruh 5:09 and 7:16 LOL DAMN.
Man, Josh is smokin! Guess he’s inspired by that side guy.
Josh Smith is just on another level and good grief you could retire on the money tied up in the Two-Rocks. LOL!
oh yeah~~
Greg Master
Damn this was just e few miles from my house and I had no clue.

Josh Smith nails those Albert King licks!
nice.
Greg Koch literally played the Woody Woodpecker laugh! AWESOME!
Throw down!!!!
Koch is on a whole different level.
First time listen....Really fucking good. Tour? Annapolis MD would dig the shit out of you all. Peace
It would seem that these gentlemen have completely forgotten about all the wrong notes on the guitar fretboard that I seem to find all too often.
Where can I find this entire show? I heard him say Joey Landreth was coming up.
I will be uploading the entire show, but I am doing it in stages because I have a lot of other performances from NAMM to upload as well
Can someone find me an equivalent lick trade off in recent years? This was extraterrestrial.
ballad of john henry with eric gales and joe bonamassa... probably the most recent classic lick trade off
7:43 😳
It's like someone raised Albert King from the grave and cloned him!!!
Albert King should be smiling...
TU MEKE!!!
Joe B just got shown up.
Cooking with GAS!!!!!
Who are the 8 ass-hats that voted thumbs down?
Two guys playing Telecasters that aren't Telecasters!
Is GREG playing his Reverend?
Yes
Wrong, they are Telecasters, just not Fender.
Wow euphoria drumming is here.. so interaction with solos that’s how drummers should be ..
As great as Josh is, I think GREG can outplay him. Greg is better than most guitarists on his worst day. He does insane and naughty things with his guitar, Just my opinion. They are both guitar masters tho.
I don't think its a contest at all. Its about expression and getting what you hear out to the world. Both do an excellent job of that.
They are both magic! It’s just personal preference. They play fantastically together
I am sick of that Albert King lick that Greg absolutely always plays for years !! Please Greg learn some new licks man !! It is getting tiered.
Greg feelin a little outplayed I think hah
The drummer... I don´t know ..... to loud, to weird..... it just does not fit.,
flowbius I’m not getting that at all....to each his own
