@@Jmarshall-kj4hc I own a LP R8 and an Am Std Tele. They both stay in tune equally great. I have a lesser LP (studio tribute) that IS a little wonky unless I keep the nut well lubed - but a new nut or some filing would fix that if it were big bother. But I rarely play it since getting the R8 anyways. Any LP can be rendered to be stable, it just has a lower tolerance for error in getting everything dialed (nut and bridge saddles). But, honestly, they're so bad that touring professionals and studio musicians never use them. Oh, wait, never mind. Maybe they, too, have figured it out, huh? One thing to keep in mind is temperature. Put any guitar on a stage, under hot lights that fluctuate, room temps that peak and sag. and then play it. They'll all need retuning in between songs, even a Tele. D'oh!
I hardly played my Les Paul because I couldn’t keep it in tune. Tried everything. Turned out all I needed was a fret level and crown - the intonation, not the tuning, was the problem due to fret wear and now it’s perfect!
Thanks for announcing your stance on slides and letting everyone know your leaving a RUclips video. Good bye and safe travels. Hope your fretting journey goes well. Love you.
Thanks! I love Greg!
Who doesn't love a bit of Koch! 🙃
Now thats funny, I don't care who you are.
Jamming out baby right on Gibson sounds great
Monster Koch!
WHERE WAS THIS FILMED?
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Gristle!
Derrick Trucks??? I’m not so sure…l
First Les Paul that I've seen with tuning problems. Sounded great anyway!
That’s the norm in my experience unfortunately😢 probably why I lean toward teles🤷🏿
Never seen a Les Paul before?
@@grdnmellesmoen9845 A bit of sarcasm.
