Now that I’m done with chemotherapy and no longer at the hospital, no one calls to ask how I’m doing anymore! When I was at the hospital, everyone asked how I was doing, can they do anything for me. Now everything is silent! My temperature rose to 101.9 I don’t know what to do!

I understand. I did chemo for 7 mos.I felt so emotionally lost and lonely after my chemo ended. No one asked how I was.

I can only tolerate fresh vegan foods since starting chem. Post 3 treatments watermelon is very good. Also vegan sushi rolls with ginger on top cuts the nausea. Oatmeal with fresh blueberries and maple syrup instead of sugar in the morning. Plain water is difficult but I add cut up organic washed lemon and oranges to a water pitcher making the water delicious to drink. Also lemon ginger tea is good. Fresh Veggie trays with Ranch dressing dip are great too. Coleslaw, baked salmon filets with lemon and mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mashed turnips and corn on the cob are good too.
Toasted Bagels with avocado instead of butter and sliced tomatoes with seasoning are delicious for lunch. Fresh Tuna salad sandwiches on fresh multigrain with crisp lettuce is good too. Soda crackers & pureed soups.

How funny you list these foods, because these are most of the same foods I can tolerate also. My treatments ended the end of February, but I am still experiencing nausea and aversions to a lot of foods. I also went through radiation and some of the effects might be from that too. Best wishes to you. ❤️

@@gailmatt1734 Thank you for the feedback Gail. I'm going for a complete bilateral mastectomy within the month then radiation, so it was helpful to hear from you since you've been there and done that! God bless you and heal you and give you His amazing shalom🙏💕❤️
