Great video Dean, i've always watch your video, follow at your facebook and i very love when you dive in Indonesia, regards from freedive Batam (Indonesia), one more what the title music your use for this video?
+Fredrik Olofsson In this video I could have used one, because this wreck was extremely shallow. For dives over 12 or 15 meters, I definitely wont use one.
Awesome video once again dude! Love your stuff it's what got me into Freediving! Remember you uploading a video on colour correction on Sony Vegas but I am using final cut x at the moment any chance you can link me in the right direction for underwater colour correction on final cut x? Have over 64gb of footage from Freediving in Tonga with the humpback whales I would like to edit and add some colour back into thanks! Looking foreword to the night dive..
+Alex Macca Can you try and use the same concept as from that video - just find the color correcting effect in you editor and do the same thing. Good luck! tonga is on my bucket list.
+Freediver HD I suppose it's just a matter of playing around with it to find the correct spot for the right colour any tips or ways around the changing depths? Cheers dude keep diving always with a buddy!
this video is very timely for me as I'm headed to Bali in a few weeks for an extended stay. I scuba'd there 15 years ago, but have since taken up free-diving, logging most of my time in Okinawa. Looking forward to "warming up" on this wreck and then on to the Liberty when I get more comfortable. Anyone reading this in Bali now? wanna link up when I get there? Thanks again, Dean, will drop a few bucks on the paypal...
very beautiful video, I also watched the night version, very interesting both videos, but I think that isn't easy to dive at night.. did you like the night experience of diving?
+Gabriel Ribeiro always nice to see your comments Gabriel - thanks for all the support over the years. Yeah the night was tough - for example, the shots where you can see myself in holding my selfie pole - the light is shining back on me and into my eyes, so I actually cannot really see much.... but If I do not have light shine into my face - then in the video its just black. Tough to get right.
I'm always here Dean, haha You're an example to me, in the future, I really want to travel an dive around the world.. and you gave me the first advices.. Waiting for new videos and night version!!
+ANDREAS KUSWANDONO spit into the mask. BUT - dont wash the spit out - wait until it totally dries - when the spit is dry you can rinse the mask and use - the spit will stay on the inside of the mask, and ur mask wont fog.
Hey! I've recently gained a big interest in spearfishing through my love for freediving and in Christmas ill be going to the Caribbean for 3-4weeks :D i just need a little help to find a good, strong and powerful speargun to take with me. if you have any names of spearguns that are worthy catching 100+lb fish, plz let me know! :P ( Price doesn't matter but it must be up in '£' currency).
your musical choice is EXCELLENT! however im not sure i like the part then you come in @ 1:25 and start narrating...it kills the momentum of your dive and the music combo'd together that actually of themselves make your video's able to be watched. #1 Rule: don't kill your own momentum (BTW I'll take the historical talk of your dive as I like and love that stuff...it just has to be in the right place)
The record settings and the scenery make this one of your best yet.
Scenery & Commentary makes this video amazing
Grotto Saipan and this one are my favorites videos.
i was in Amed 3 weeks ago. Amazing spot for snorkeling. Then i did a freediving course in Tulamben which is also a very nice spot.
+Pierre Arowana Cool. I was there around the 22-28th August. Similar time to you I guess. I also have the Tulamben video coming out soon.
