  • Timothy had his best race yet in Kona on Saturday. He led for a big chunk of the day, and ended up in second place, joining the elite sub-eight hour group in Kona. How does it feel for the American to finish in 2nd at the sport’s most important race?
Championship Edition filmed on location at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. Brought to you by HOKA, Polar, UCAN, Velofix, Normatec, Active, Canyon, Form Goggles, Amp Human, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Sportstats, Ashworth Awards, and Headsweats.

Tim is just the most likable dude in the men’s field. Such a class act, so thankful, and so gracious. I’m glad he’s qualified for next year and will be back to chase a win.

Tim - you're my MVP for the day, amongst MANY contenders. To take 2nd in a field that stacked and fast, so early off that injury is amazing. Congrats!

Awesome interview with an incredible person! That sunburn on Timothy's chest indicates just how ruthless that sun out there. Enjoy that much deserved off season.

I am glad you didn't mention the injury before because that can sound like an excuse not to do well and it can get in your head. You decided not to let that happen and perform your best, true contender! Congratulations!

I saw Tim at about 2.1 miles on the run and thought no way he stays in second as he looked gassed. Of course that was comparing him to Frodo who looked great. Congrats on a great race.
