- Timothy had his best race yet in Kona on Saturday. He led for a big chunk of the day, and ended up in second place, joining the elite sub-eight hour group in Kona. How does it feel for the American to finish in 2nd at the sport’s most important race?

Tim is just the most likable dude in the men’s field. Such a class act, so thankful, and so gracious. I’m glad he’s qualified for next year and will be back to chase a win.

I saw Tim at about 2.1 miles on the run and thought no way he stays in second as he looked gassed. Of course that was comparing him to Frodo who looked great. Congrats on a great race.
