What is your favorite moment from Tony Stewart's career?
I predict that Christopher Bell will win this year's championship in 2024
2011 championship. He came out of nowhere to win it.
@marcusvillarreal And rightly so
@@HoldMyBluntNascar yeah I know
His first win. His comedic personality and humor. His way of racing. His friendliness.
While I understand why Tony left NASCAR, I really do miss him being in NASCAR. His fiery personality and talent was old school refreshing.
Who knows Maybe he'll come back around NASCAR down the road
@@johnhaas2523not unless nascar does away with the next gen or let them have full horsepower and cut the gimmicks. Tony likes hard to drive really fast cars
yeah and no drivers are being run down too !
In his prime he was as good as anyone in history.
How could anyone sum it up better
Tony Stewart was a one man highlight reel who always kept it 100% honest, much like Mr. Harvick himself. I struggle seeing these once "Young Guns" well into their middle-aged years and retired. Now they're sitting around the fireplace talking about what was and where we are today. Time waits for no one. I'm just happy they're still here and choosing to share their wisdom with us.
Makes ya feel old, doesn't it? 😅
@@COCarDudeWe are old😆😆
Yep, IM OLD now.....😢😅
I just wanna thank Kevin for not disappearing like most former drivers, he's very valuable to the sport and he's certainly not doing it for the money... You're very professional and a jack of all trades, master of some... 😉
I'll say what you're thinking. Dale Jr. needs to learn how to do an interview. Kevin Harvick asked Chris Myers and is becoming excellent at it...
@@mikekasiner4453Jr's a great interviewer, tho
I am happy that Tony Stewart is happy and not having to deal with NASCAR.
Could hear tony talk for hours mans got a way of speaking that is awesome to listen to. So much history. Thanks for the years in nascar!
His favorite descriptive word is “literally” awesome 🤣
I miss Tony in NASCAR. It's a shame the direction it's going, and I don't blame him for leaving. Great interview and I'm sure Tony will be a great dad.
very good interview, I loved watching you guys race over the years in Nascar and it's exciting watching Tony drag race. I can't imagine how challenging that is to go from Nascar to the NHRA, but I give Tony a lot of credit for doing it.
This was great! I loved seeing the 2 old friends chat, catch up with Tony and see what a good place he's in. The interview put a little more perspective on the SHR split, the humanized side of it, the toll. Thanks Kevin and Tony!
tony's another icon of the sport. along with kevin.
100%
Seeing how things are going with 23XI and FRM, I cannot blame Tony for calling it a career in NASCAR. NASCAR has definitely changed and its a shame.
NASCAR has been slowly collecting all the variables and controlling them for decades.
Nascar has become a lame attempt at racing.

Always been a Tony fan and always will be Great Guy
I have been both an NHRA and Nascar fan my whole life, never liked Tony. But i gotta say Friday at Reading this year i saw him in the pits with long line of fans and he signed and took pictures with everybody who wanted one. Hes starting to win me over a bit. I stood there and watched him interact with the fans for a few minutes and he was really good with everybody. So while i might not be a fan of his personally yet ( i'm a JFR guy never liked DSR) I understand and appreciate what it means for the sport to have Tony a part of it. Welcome aboard Tony! Prock 2024😂
my two fav drivers! I started watching NASCAR in 1999 and when KH started his rookie year he was "my guy" and Tony was always my #2... love seeing these two guys having a chin wag
Toney 1 of the few with balls to actually tell it the way it really is.....
Tony as a dad that child is in for a ride! I worked for DW for a decade. Lucky for DW he had Stevie, lucky for Tony he has Leah!
Wow, Tony has a great attitude. He’s truly a down-to-earth guy.
Yeah, what happened to that rageaholic Tony from when he was a driver?
down to earth guy he isnt even close to that
He is too! I met him in 2022, & he told me a few old racing stories & was awesome about my situation!
Tony to me was old school earned his way up the totem pole best wishes Tony thanks for the memories buddy and best wishes to you and yours and Kevin great podcast and thanks for having Tony on and thanks to both of youall for your contributions to the NASCAR world take care.
I just have loved Tony since I was a young boy.
Yep he was the man
Wish he coulda ran the 500 more times. I hoped for years and believed he’d come back again and a few years ago it really looked like he was and then I think a couple indycars flipped around that time and his opinion seemed to change sadly seeing Kyle Larson there was pretty cool but not quite as good lol
Tony is a kind hearted soul, he and Leah will be great parents. Can’t wait to see Tony Jr…
😂 great job Tony. Still ruling the race tracks. Thanks for all the memories.
2 legends and very successful Business Men , great show 🏁🏁🏁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
Met Tony, and his dad, at Night Under Fire in Norwalk, Ohio this past summer. Great guys. Good to see him having fun in drag racing.
2 of the best Nascar legends in history
2 of my most favorite drivers/people.
NASCAR has imploded. I don’t blame Tony for getting out of the mess.
Great interview!! I watch Tony on NHRA and love it. Wish I could watch Kevin’s races but they aren’t televised. You two are the best!!
Yes they are, tune into flo TV
@@stanbro3thanks. I’ve tried and can’t seem to find his races.
love tony stewart
I've been loving the first car stories all season.
Tony is right about Nascar.
Can’t wait for this!
What an amazing interview well done 😊
Best person you've ever had on your show!!!
Interesting conversation. I was worried Kevin’s comments last year put a strain on their friendship. Glad to see it hasn’t
I think Kevin was talking about Gene more than Tony
I remember watching Tony at a midget race years before he got to the NASCAR level a saying there’s something special about this kid and boy was I right.
Tony's greatest thrill every Sunday is watching Ryan preece take the wave around during a stage break 👋
🤷🏻♂️😆😆😆😆
Tony, you are in the top upper echelon of race car drivers period. I really idolize you man. I wish I was in the same position you are when I was your age.
That Home Depot #20 car is still iconic 20 years later
Watching him win the 2 Preludes at Eldora that I went to in 06 and 08 are my favorite memories
I miss 90s and early 2000s NASCAR so much! =(
Two of my favorites. 👏👏
Tony's been mentally checked out of Nascar for over a decade now. Even the end of his driving career it was pretty obvious his heart wasn't in Nascar anymore so him leaving as an owner is really no surprise, it was just a matter of time. Compared to other owners, you hardly ever even saw Tony at the track.
The sport has changed a lot in just the last 20 years and I can't help but feel it's forcing guys to get out of it and retire earlier than they may have wanted. Everybody has their own beginning-of-the-end moment for Nascar but for me, it was the inception of the CoT in 2007. That car design with the splitter and having it glued down into the track just took so much of the racing out of the drivers hands and made the cars so aero-dependent that it just ruined the product that is still in effect today. The Gen-6 doubled down on it and the Gen-7 took it to even worse areas. Cars have so little HP, they can't pass because everybody is running the same speeds and the cars are too aero-dependent to overcome it, it's not much of a race anymore where the fastest car wins, the race is just for track position. Whoever gets the track position and gets out front on the final restart is probably going to win the race. It produces a lot of fluke winners to artificially create parity but it's steering more and more away from racing every year and becoming more WWE on wheels. The old-school drivers realize that and why they're retiring early and the fans see it too but nothing ever changes. They just continue doubling down on the gimmicks.
The only nascar owner I ever had the courage to try to call. 30 years in the craft of flying, I guess it's all iracing now. nascar lost one of its biggest names, over greed, rules, ambassadors, brand management . Great work nascar. Thank you Kevin good interview.
Hang Tuff Big T keep on Rollin You Got This.🏁💪🇺🇸
Tomy stewart was always my favorite post race interview, , no matter the outcome of the race he was gonna have something interesting to say
Tony did a very good breakdown of the differences in drag racing compared to NASCAR.
Just enjoy it goes so quick ❤
Very good interview, easy can relate and agree with everything said. Congratulation, you're right, the baby stuff and parenting just come naturally one situation at a time. Enjoy every moment because it will feel like blink between age 1 and high school graduation.
Thx for sharing brothers, awesome info.
Outside of nascar. I e always liked Tony but I’m glad he’s building a family. He’s accomplished so much and as a dad I believe he’s finally getting his biggest a trophy. Ready to see how he responds as a person and driver after meeting his son.
Tony is an absolute legend! Have had the opportunity to visit with him a few times over the years. Always a great time. I understand him leaving nascar. He was very nice to the France family. They have definitely made some poor decisions. The racing is terrible
LOVE Tony Stewart in TF. Get Kevin in a car too!
I don't think Kevin has any interest himself now keelan maybe and He did get in the car as that was on social media
Tony will be calling Delana hollering help
Tony was brilliant bailing.out.
My first new car was a 79 Valarie slant 6 2 bbl. 2 door.
Kevin Harvick Is Awesome
I got to meet and work a little with Tony at BRP in 2018 and he's a really cool guy. Likes to play jokes and Rib ya a little. It was a fun weekend. Congratulations on the new baby, you will do fine.
Very good episode
I miss the days of Tony, Kevin and Dale Jr. My 3 favorite drivers.
Our son explosion pooped up his back on our trip to myrtle beach when he was 7 months 😂😅 omg I almost spit out my coffee when Kevin was explaining the situation
Great video!
Certainly going to miss Tony’s participation in NASCAR
You and Leah will be fabulous parents!
Message for Tony! Long time fan here. So I've been watching you and your drag racing. I know that you want to know what it's like to go 300+ MPH. With that being said, Why don't you and Harvick along with your other buddies get together and go for the land speed record! Then you'll know what fast is. I'd like to see you break that record. It would be awesome.
good video! thanks!
NASCAR is not ok, it's not healthy. Good for you Tony making a decision that's best for you.
I never missed a race for nearly 20 years I haven't seen a full race in over 8 years
NASCAR wants to bring all the fans back, they should bring Stewart back part time in a cup car
If Tony doesn't want to race in NASCAR they can't force it And I can't see Tony driving a next gen cup series car anyway
One of my biggest complaints in life was that kids, particularly babies, don't come with an owners manual. We managed to raise several finally, but good luck. It will be the most challenging thing in life. Congrats to Kevin for doing a great job.
Been a fan since 2000. I went to school to have a career in the sport. I never missed a race. I no longer watch cup races and only watch a few xfinity races. Nascar has taken away everything I fell in love with. The speed, engine noise, hand built 210 mph pieces of art and drivers that were relatable. All the new car has ruined it for me and the drivers are all rich kids..F1 is filling that void
That's hilarious about the baby wrapping up its back...that happened to me the first time my wife left our daughter with me..within oh, 5 minutes after my wife left...bingo!!
Great interview, wish you were still racing..
this raisin' kids thing is hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣
First kid… everything is like, you okay, what happened… by the 2nd and 3rd, you just yell from the other room… are you missing any hands or feet??? No?? You’re okay… walk it off… don’t worry, the blood will wash out… 😂😂😂
There should be Roadside nanny for messy/smelly poops in the car. Emergency Roadside Diapers! I enjoy and I’m a fan of all three of these drivers.
In NHRA I’m a TF and PS fan. NASCAR both Cup and Busch/Infinity . Be Safe and Good Luck to all !!!
Literally.
100 times
Wish Tony been more of the old Tony and say exactly why he left, instead of the nice way saying it and more truth
Just wait till after they are gone! He might just lay it out there!
He's just hanging out with his friend in a show on a NASCAR affiliated network trust me, someone else and he would unload in a mega rant.
My favorite Tony Stewart moment was when he won the championship in his 14 car.
As the father of a 2 month old, let me tell you, it's definitely a challenge at first! But its the most fufulling thing you can do!
Tony you did the right thing, I thought about it and I don't blame you at all thanks for the racing memories. Sorry I prefer racing not games or over time with in the last 10 laps or so , it's over done.
I got my hat signed by Tony Stewart in Norwalk Ohio
Tony kevin is right, I call it an electrical short. You see, when that happens, you need to troubleshoot so it doesn't happen again 😅 What did he eat or drink, for this not to happen again 😂CONGRATS dad 👍
You guys should have Tony Stewart here more because you guys have a partnership with NHRA because you’re with Fox. Maybe Kevin Harvick can jump to NHRA.
With all due respect to Tony Stewart but i couldn’t imagine being a first time father at the age of 53. In saying that, some people who are rich have nanny’s who live with them & some don’t even play a part of their child’s youth/upbringing 😑
Tony will be a great dad because he is just a big kid himself. Luckily there will be an adult present, that's why we have wives.
Haha I feel the same way
@@COCarDude it's 100% accurate lol
@@clayguthrie i feel that lol my newborn needs his mama's love more than you know. I just hope I can make it 4 more hours before she comes home lol

Man, I’ve always wanted to know… and if anyone here has a link to an interview somewhere of someone asking Kevin this, but I wanna know what it was like for Kevin driving the RCR car, compared to SHR. I mean, Kevin was always a perennial winner/play off driver. But I wanna know what the biggest change that helped him propel into a straight DOG on that track. Was it really just the SHR switch? Did the Gen 6 car just suit his driving style? Because even his last year at RCR (first year of the Gen 6) he was winning 5 races that year. Or did he just peak during that time? Maybe a combination of everything? Kevin was just a monster in that Gen 6 car. He was a deserving champ in 14 (even though I thought Gordon was the best driver that year), but he should’ve won in 15 too, *maybe 16*, 18, and 2020 if not for the format. Kevin is the best Gen 6 driver of all time, even if he only got one championship in that era.
Babies don’t come with an owner’s manual.😂
Successful people utilize the people around them. When your wife is one of the best in the business, you better take note. And surely you would want her total input on everything involved. Congratulations to the Stewart family.
Lewis Hamilton! Richard Petty, definite a serious consideration, being he speaks on dirt racing talking about stuff WRC drivers would know I mean lol that’s pretty much got ‘em covered. He explains setting the car up with the slide in for straight exit using the slide to slow u down with your pedal brake.. Seb loeb stuff
Watch your alarm clocks? More like lock your doors 😂😂
F1 nr1 Kevin
Kyle Larson vs Max Verstappen would be an epic showdown
Tony Stewart’s boy will hence fourth be known as lil smokies
I just want to know if Tony Stewart has thrown a helmet at another drag car.
Yes you're having a child Tony but the moment you hold that child something will come over you that's better than any race that you've ever won just try and hold on to that feeling
Tony, we've got 2 kids and both are completely different to raise
F1 nr 1
Yes, F1
This was posted two weeks ago and Tony is talking like it's his first season of Drag Racing 🤔
NASCAR is turning into monster jam
If SHR was still winning races in cup he wouldn’t be closing the doors!!
Tony if he wants having fun and enjoying drag racing and going to be a father he still would have gotten out
