Beliau dianggap sebagai salah seorang pemimpin korporat paling serba boleh di Malaysia yang berjaya menerajui empat organisasi utama dalam pembangunan infrastruktur, telekomunikasi, perkhidmatan kewangan dan pengurusan pelaburan. Beliau adalah bekas Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Maybank, syarikat tersenarai awam terbesar di Malaysia dan salah satu kumpulan perbankan terkemuka di Asia Tenggara, dari Mei 2008. . Sebelum menyertai Maybank, beliau merupakan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) dari Julai 2004 sehingga pengasingannya dengan Axiata Group Berhad pada April 2008. Beliau juga pernah menjadi MD/CEO UEM Group Berhad, peranan pertamanya sebagai CEO di berumur 37 tahun.
Beliau kemudian berkhidmat sebagai Pengerusi Kumpulan Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), syarikat pengurusan dana terbesar di Malaysia, dari Ogos 2016 hingga Jun 2018 selepas tamat tempohnya sebagai Senator dan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri yang bertanggungjawab dalam Perancangan Ekonomi dari Jun 2013 hingga Jun 2016. Kini, beliau merupakan the Chairman of Bursa MaLAYSIA.

Guys i really love your podcast. Please invite more CEO (focusing on professional career) on how their journey from executive to climb CEO. Honestly, awareness about career path is less in malaysia. Mostly people choose career engineer/doctors/accountant/lawyer because chasing secure job and income but actually its beyond than that. They can go corporate to GLC or any big companies from career they choose

The show concept is solid and the guest contributions are insightful. However, the hosting leaves much to be desired (and that's me being polite). Both hosts frequently use cringeworthy language, demonstrate limited knowledge, and lack chemistry. The list goes on. Seriously teruk sangat.. Pening kepala dengar. With no ill intent, I humbly suggest for the hosts to step aside from hosting duties and focus on production, while bringing in new hosts.
Atleast Ishraq has to step down.

Agree tho, at some points hosts masing2 tak sabar nak bercakap. They should improve a lot kalau nak continue sebagai host, chemistry pun sgt penting.

I hate it when Ishraq laughed loudly at the microphone. In previous episodes, I can tolerate the hosts questions to the guests, but for Tan Sri Wahid episode, u can clearly see that huge gap between the the giant guest compared to the unprepared, unknowledgable, unskilled hosts. And lastly, can u just summarise the biodata rather than reading it. Aiyoo, pls. Such a waste. U can ask far better important questions to Tan Sri.
My sincere aplogies 🙏🏻 will be more aware in terms of laughing and also to be more prepared for future episodes. Will work harder too in improving ourselves and the channel as a whole!
