I love that even the Source at full power carrying a baby source still didn’t have enough power to take them out this moment truly showed just how powerful the power of three is.
And this is even the weaker version of the power of three cuz of Prue's attachment to it even in the afterlife. After she bound her powers, the power of three comes full power.
I love this scene. Piper is hilarious. Paige got to do the power of three spell for the first time. And the three of them were together. Plus that kick to the cage is bada$$
Whatever genius came up with the line "The Power of Three Will Set Us Free!" originally was brilliant and ensured this show had the best line to prove they were most powerful witches ever.
So “the seer” didn’t see her plan would get the Cole, the high counsel, AND HER killed?💁🏽 lol no wonder the source walked right into his own demise he trusted her “vision”🥴
Yeah, that’s a slight flaw in the whole ‘the Seer sees all.’ Maybe she only really sees what she wants to see. She never envisioned the Charmed Ones being powerful enough to defeat her because she simply didn’t believe they could. Or maybe the baby’s power was great enough to block her visions… so from the moment she took the baby into her body, she couldn’t see past his power to see that the Charmed Ones would kill her. We know that SHE knew that only the power of 3 can kill her, but she didn’t see that they would summon Piper. Also she didn’t see the flaw in the design - Magic can’t escape, but it can be pulled in. It’s a good thing the Magic was neutralized when she died, though. Otherwise the sisters may not have been able to get out - she did say that only her magic could break the seal on the cage.
@@dmf1301 I think it was all her own arrogance. Remember she said, "All Source's have needed me! My vision's have brought them all great power!" That obviously went to her head and probably made her think her vision's couldn't possibly be changed like Phoebe's or the Oracle's. And when her all her plans for Cole, Phoebe and the baby worked out she thought she succeeded and didn't think she needed to look any further.
I love how they r standing at birth of one of the most powerful evils to ever exist bent on killing them and taking over all of hell and they r just like " power of 3 spell?" ' sure, why not? It might work.' Paige ( having never done this spell B4) just follow along 😂
Avanced Fire Throwing is still a cool power. Its like the 1st time of blue pyrokinesis, before Hellboy (1st movie), s2 of Heroes, and others. In live action. Its also like a blow torch, instead of all flame-y. In the comics, 2 things happen. A) The Source returns in the body of a golem. Only with the combined powers of the Po3, Excalibur sword, and essence of other good magic. Do the Charmed Ones, vanquish not only him for good, but his evil essence. That way there truely will never ever b another source. B) A darklighter takes the grimoire and an Empyreal Sword of heaven (grants angelic powers and wings). Puts them together that ends the eternal battle of good vs evil. Stripping away all magic and giving it to mortals. Prue returns and cast a spell to absorb those 2, and set things right. Eventually, she gets stabbed by a powerful athame that sets her free from another evil. And destroys the 2 artifacts.
I always wondered if the baby had lived. How powerful would he become. I imagine similar to Wyatts level or even more. Cause Leo was an average white lighter. And this child was the source and a charmed one's child. My bet he would have been Invincible similar to Cole and pregnant Piper. Or even more than the Avatar collective without any weakness.
It would’ve made the “evil Wyatt” arc more interesting if Chris had actually been his cousin instead of brother. Like, the son of the greatest evil who comes back to be a hero and save his cousin, almost brother born of one of the greatest goods, from becoming a villain.
There's probably a universe out there where that evil spawn was given birth to, but considering how much the parasitic fetus torments its carrier, I think it would kill her before it saw the light of day.
@@Aarxnsprite I don't know for sure about that. That demon the source had locked up there was no spell that would vanquish him. But Phebe killed with the baby's powers. So, if the power of 3 couldn't kill him but the baby did. The baby blew up the Sere but if the baby grew up and matured. He would be stronger and not going to blow up after he was born and grew. And we saw there is a way to be more powerful than the charmed ones when Cole got all those powers from the underworld.
Looks like the seer and her baby are also both unworthy of being the source too because she couldn’t handle the powers and her baby inside herself and the baby was far too immature to control the source’s powers too.
2:52 Does it open because killing a demon like the seer destabilizes the cage from being indestructible due to the powers connecting to the one who does this to these girls?
I just think that the Seer enchanted the cage and with the Seer's death, the spell is gone. Or it could have been the Priest. Either way, it's pretty universal knowledge that when a spellcaster dies, the spell is undone.
@@Maatjuhhh I'm asking if the more killing demons, the more it will destabilize their powers connecting to them that makes the Pagans free as Piper opens the cage with one kick that shows that the cage is unstable from being indestructible after killing the seer.
It would have been perfect if this was the series finale because that's the same spell they used in the first episode. I'm amazed the spell used to vanquish a low level warlock could be used to defeat the Source of all evil
I wonder if Billy and Christy already existed in this world or if the Angel of Destiny changed the world to set up new threats. I mean, the Source was meant to be the ultimate evil and the triad was gone. So lore wise it was either "losing their power until the next generation is ready to fight" and "continue the fight" which would require more and more powerful enemies and a final challenge Not to mention that we know that the Angels of Destiny are way more powerful than the Elders and Avatars with the latter being more or less the most powerful group of the show (excluding neutral parties like the Angel of Death)
Which it doesn't show at the end of Cole's letter is that Phoebe in a blue shirt was in her own room reading that Cole's words said to her not to cry because he was dead before meeting her and born on the day she loved him before taking a rest on her bed. Without warning as the curtains blew in by wind, a male voice calls out her name and needing help in which Phoebe believes is to be Cole alive again after killing him at the end of Long Live The Queen and makes it a confusing ending that a male voice calls Phoebe's name in which she believed it was Cole again ever since she was not happy about killing him in which made her become a crybaby at the end of Long Live The Queen and super inconsolable as the song Shine by Audrey Auld was playing in the background. I mean crybaby that is the same as saying chatterbox as chatterbox means you don't stop talking while crybaby as a noun and all in one word means you do not stop crying continuously or even permanently. I don't mean this to sound like a bully or a threat. It's what I'm saying and how I'm using it.

It kind of bothers me that they didnt use that spell more often just because the actresses didnt like it. It gave a few exciting moments.

Why did they look away when they were doing the spell at 2:36?
Because of all the exploding I would assume.
While filming, they have strong bright light shone on them for effects
Because if they had looked they would have laughed uncontrollably for the rest of the show’s hour.
