One thing that hard work gets you in life is the luxury of "choice"
    - Hrithik Roshan

  • @yashsrivastava5528
    @yashsrivastava5528 Год назад +392

Hrithik is very underrated. Take a few minutes and read these.
Here are a few scenes that you should definitely revisit :-
    1. Kaabil - where he finds out his wife has commited suicide and the dispersion of emotion that comes out of him.
    2. Agneepath - during the dinner scene where his mother slaps him and he bursts out crying on shoulder of priyanka. That scene is a masterpiece.
    3. Lakshya - where he tells priety zinta about his lakshya. The raw desperation and passion on his face is unmatchable.
    4. Jodhaa Akbar - the interval scene when he lashes out on aishwariya to leave his house in anger.
    5. Zindagi na milegi dobaara - when he comes out of a seadiving session and realizes what he was missing out in life.
    6. Guzaarish - when there is a leak on the roof and water droplets keep hitting his face continuously.
    7. Kites - when he gets shot, and linda keeps him in a safe container and she leaves in a car.
    8. Fiza - when he convinces his sister to shoot him in the climax
    9. Mission kashmir - when he meets his mother after ages for the first time.
    10. Guzaarish - court scene
    11. Luck By Chance - where he meets the kids on the street.
    12. Koi Mil Gaya - when Rohit tries to make new friends and he gets bullied, they break his cycle. He doesn't say a word, but he immediately wins you over with his expressions. You feel empathetic.
    13. Super 30 - When Anand Kumar gets an admission in Cambridge University and he expresses his joy.
(do revisit those scenes if possible)
    14. Vikram Vedha was his top notch brillancy
No actor affected me as much as Hrithik in Bollywood. It's just that his personal life and his not so loud personality in public didn't help in recognising the work he has put into his films. I hope that changes soon. Amen.

So much love for the child version of Hrithik who faced bullying for stammering, having two thumbs on his hand etc. I love how even though his traumas made him vulnerable, they caused him to gain awareness and somehow were a blessing in disguise, as he channelled it into Rohit who became one of the most iconic characters ever ❤ What a beautifully emotional, deep yet simple man with a genuine heart. I believe you speak for many people who demonstrate their love in diverse ways. Such emotion is unsurprising when we internalise the deep truth that there simply is no actor like Hrithik. No matter how many qualities we enumerate on his behalf, yet we will always be aware that Hrithik himself has still something that cannot be captured and will always remain excluded - simply, he’s the best Bollywood or Hollywood will ever produce…

Whatever Movie I‘m watching of Hrithik, I‘m enjoying his acting. Watching his interviews are super inspiring to me and his words and his thinking have often „clicked“ with me. It wasn‘t new, it‘s the way he expresses it. So in that sense, thank you very much🙏! Much respect from Switzerland❤

Watching Aamir Khan's cringe act in Laal Singh Chadha made me respect Hrithik even more for how he pulled off Rohit as a newcomer in 2003

Hritik in KMG and SRK in MNIK both played one of the best mentally disabled character...

Koi Mill Gaya was Hrithik's 8th or 9th film (if you don't count the ones where he starred as a child actor). He gave a series a flops after Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. KMG saved his career

@@labi2999Aamir had done 50+ films before Laal Singh Chadha, if we don't count his child artist roles. So, what's your point? He was bad even in Dhoom 3 as the autistic character.

Damn, that was such an enlightening conversation!
Had no idea Hrithik felt so strongly about cinema - this really spoke to me!
As for Vedha, well we have to remember, it's a timing thing - the film came after the halt from the pandemic, and that is the time when audiences opened up to streaming & non hindi films, and Madhavan's Vedha was BLOODY POPULAR, so by the time the hindi version came along, alota people had already seen the story and it was fresh in people's minds.
So it's not a case of we didn't like Hrithik in the film, coz he was great, but more of a timing thing.
Anu - loving these recent interviews!! India mein hota, toh ladoo ka dabba Film Companion ke office mein le aata!!
