    TL;DR - Alphie is wanted for murderer and a detective joins the hunt. It is now a game of wits between Alfie and this Detective as Alfie wants the detectives skull.
    A character analysis on Alfie, from someone who is writing a fantasy regression story:
    -Alfie is a young kid, with a very disturbing personality. He could easily get obsessed over things, especially when it comes to collecting skulls. He is a typical kid that does whatever he wants and he even managed to have his family to budge to him and put up with his whims. Still, he is smart enough to realize that law enforcement can put him in jail, but does that really matter in his chaotic mind when he is in such a bind that police caught up to him and he is really pointing the gun to the police officer?
    The unknowns here is that the police officer character doesn't have an elaborate personality, so I have no idéa how the police officer is expected to act when he realizes Alfie is pointing a gun at him. Still, we could go to a murder mystery route but as the villains POV.
    1. Alfie successfully kills the police officer, but have trouble transporting the guy to a secret location. Alfie challenge is to move the body without any other witnesses, and to make sure the police officer is buried during this 6 months period.
    2. Law enforcement is now really after Alfie for murdering a police officer, amongst other things. He must go in hiding. I be the family would still help him out despite the position he has put himself onto.
    3. He has a conflicting interest as news are really interested in Alfie now that he is a suspect and craves that attention.
    4. We need a detective character who wants to put Alfie in jail. and Alfie probably wants to murder said detective just to collect the skull of a smart person. This becomes a game of wits with Alfie being a chaotic evil character, needs a substantial character development in order to outwit the detective.
    As I love animé and manga, I have some inspirational recommendations for you to read if you want to go this route:
    1. My home hero (MC kills son-in-law in self-defense and decompose the body to hide evidence both from police and the gang the SIL is a gang of, all to protect his daughter)
    2. Death Note (MC writes down names of people, who dies of heart attack, and then a super-skilled secret detective hunts him down, and this becomes a game of wits. - Highly recommended.)

      Alfie going into hiding after murdering a police officer would be an exciting plot for the story. A detective plot line would work. How would the detective try to catch Alfie. If Alfie managed to get away with murder he would turn insane murdering loads of famous people to get their skulls. This would turn into a full scale horror story.

    @Beno
    I have a ending.
    - The story starts with Steven. Steven loves soccer. But he isn't good at that, so when he want to kick the ball to the goal, he kicked the ball to the road. There is Alfie and the police. Alfie sees the ball and kick it to the police. The ball lands in the balls of one of the officers, so the officers are distracted. Then Alfie kills the police and he have now their skulls. Jordan has seen how it happens, and he offers Alfie to surfing lifts with him, Ben, Zach and Aaron and killing angry security. Alfie wants skulls from angry security guards, so he agreed with it. Alfie likes surfing lifts, and he wants to going full speed. But then can the very angry security guard escape the lift, and he wants revenge for being trapped a long time. He decided to ride the elevator to the top floor and block the lift there, so the liftsurfing people will be trapped. And the elevator shaft hasn't a other exit.... But Jordan removes the big light, so Alfie can enter the lift and he kill the angry security guard. After a nice day with lift surfing and killing security, Alfie brings the skulls to his home. But everywhere is police who wanted to arrest him. Alfie realize that he can't stay home with his skulls, because he don't want to be in jail for the next 20 years. So he collect all his skulls, and then he went to IKEA. There is a 5000kg Ecodisc, and he now lives on top of that Ecodisc with all his skulls. Sometimes he stops the lift and kill the people in it, so he have food and new skulls.
    End of the story.

    How it should end: alfie acciently sets it off but it gets him, he gets the fame he wanted before the funeral, but then after 3 months, the collection gets auctioned off, and one of the officers win the auction. Inheriting all the skulls for his son Fergus who too has just started a skull collection as he wanted to be better then Alfie, but as a police officer, he is able to give his son Liams skll and then his biggest trophy, the skull of the rival skull collector. It finally ends following then his next and even darker story involving Fergus, something along the lines of Fergus Loves Daddy.
    The AI program: Fergus is a psycho child with long brown hair, and dead black eyes who made 4 teachers drop under the lift shaft and daddy has never ever said no to him in his life, until his dad (a pure soul) loses his job as an officer for tampering with evidence, what then happens? Fergus should be made to be hated by every single viewer possible

    Alfie gets taken alive, and ends up in juvenile detention / secure unit. Whilst there, he acquires a keen interest in lifts, including the workings of the different types.. He also hears about urbexing, and has an urge to do this when he's released, which is in his late teens. He meets other lift enthusiasts online, along with urbexers, and goes exploring with them. He celebrates his 18th birthday with his first ever lift surf. When he goes out and videos, he has a soft toy as a mascot, a tiger called Spotty (or a toy leopard called Stripy).

    that was actually a really good story lmao
    I could tell how some of your personal experiences shaped this - lift surfing being portrayed badly (jordan lmao)
    Have you or your actions ever been on the news? (I know about the interview with Channel 4, anything else?)

    • @benolifts
      @benolifts  3 месяца назад +4

      There are a couple of parts based on real life...
      The skull collection is based on BBC Springwatch, where Chris Packham interviews a child who collects skulls. What I found weird was how Chris was presenting it like it was a normal interesting hobby. This gave me the idea to make up a horror story based on it
      The part where the TV show was renamed to "illegal activates" is what happened with the tv show I was on. I was not keen on the name as lift surfing is not illegal. I found the finished show entertaining and fun to watch, which is how channel 4 wanted it. However I feel the show should not be seen as an accurate representation of what lift surfing is about.
      Also the parts where Alfie gets very obsessed with the hobby is kind of based on various niche hobby online communities (such as toilet filming, arcade machine enthusiasts, train spotters egg collectors) who all seem to get overly angry and hateful online.

    • @mushroomcraft
      @mushroomcraft 3 месяца назад +1

      @@benolifts wow, I thought the show getting renamed to "illegal activities" in the story was made up, but they actually did it 🤣🤣🤣, rewatching it, they really portrayed lift surfing badly and incorrectly "it's trespass, it's illegal", they brought you on, and tried to make a fool of you. Infuriating. I guess that's just the "politically correct" thing to do, a large media organisation can't be seen promoting somethung like lift surfing.
      Funny how the media normalises other hobbies. Yea, I find skull collecting weird.
      Also yes, sadly online, enthusiasts get quite a bit hatefull, right now mrmattandmrchay presents you like Voldemort from Harry Potter.
      Great story. Have you seen any news articles about you, like when Jordan was seen ontop of the glass shopping centre lift, then he was on the news.

    • @benolifts
      @benolifts  2 месяца назад +3

      @@mushroomcraft The Channel 4 show I took part in was more of an "entertainment" program rather than a proper documentary. I knew what the intention of it was when I agreed to take part, so it would not be right for me to be over critical of it. The program was made for an audience who wanted an edgy program to entertain them. The program was edited exactly for how Channel 4 wanted it, and it was fun and entertaining. However as a documentary, it does not give an accurate representation of what lift surfing is about. I personally do not think the program should class itself as a documentary.
      With the issue of other lift enthusiasts. The internet seems to bring out the worst in people. People feel they can get away with being hateful online in a way they would never dream of in real life. Some people try to make some sort of war between the people who like surfing and the people who don't, which is ridiculously pathetic. There will always be people who want to do hobbies with certain safety factors, such as lift surfing, which is not a bad thing, as long as it is done correctly. We need to support and educate people in understanding what they are doing, so that they can be safe. Nobody wants to see a clueless person attempt to do an activity without understanding it and getting hurt.
      What certain people who don't like surfing fail to comprehend is that they won't take away someone's interest in the subject by shouting about how terrible it is. What ends up happening is that people feel pressured to join in and say something like "yes, you are right, lift surfing is bad", but at the same time they are still interested in it, and they then start lift surfing in secret, on their own, alone and in isolation. This is by far the most dangerous way to attempt the hobby. This situation should not be happening like this. People should be looking out for and supporting any new inexperienced people (which will include young people) in doing the actions they are taking in a safe way. The people who hate lift surfing are so obsessed that they can not see the consequences of their actions, as all they want is an echo chamber where they can hear people echoing back the hate they have been sprawling.

      @@benolifts Thanks for replying in detail again. I'm glad you were aware of the terms of the program, luckilly you weren't completely screwed over, as they showed footage of the guy presenting the program also lift surfing. Yes people who are against lift surfing are super closed minded, and just use the same arguments; "DANGEROUS", "TRESPASSING". I get it, it's such an alien concept, as it's hard to accept. I remember my first time seeing a video on your channel; "wtf, he's opening the lift door", "wtf he's getting on the lift", "wtf he's controlling the lift", "wtf he's in the motor room", "wtf he's pressing random buttons".
      There's never going to be a world where lift surfing is normalised, and it's only gonna get worse with more companies getting "persons unknown" injunctions, and the lift community being as divided as ever. Sadly more and more lift surfing is going to happen in the dark. How do you recommend someone learn the ins and outs of safety for lift surfing? I know, extensive knowledge is required for safely lift surfing, but how do you gain that knowledge if you claim your videos are not guides, and if lift surfing is not something you can safely learn from mistakes in?
      Since I have your attention, I have some queeries and requests:
      Please make a lift company teir list, including common generic brands.
      Please make an extensive lift model teir list.
      How can I convince someone that it's called a lift, not an elevator? You are strongly opinionated about this case, and I agree with your opinion, but you never provide any reasons.
      Where can I get a crucifix key? What is the proper name, can't find it online.
      Also, thank you for taking the time to read and reply to comments from some random guy on the internet.
