I can do the Hutton run in 15 minutes. 😉😂 Anyway, great run in something that isn't a Fleet Carrier. 😁 I was that person many years ago, who forgot that Hutton only had medium pads and took my Conda. 😂😂
If you can manage that in a ship, load up the Hutton Helper (on EDMC) and get yourself to the top of the leaderboard! It's 25m10s for the record right now.
I thought with everything off the T8 would be heat balanced ... need to check again, but I'd swear the Py2 did a short (300k) sco cruising around 70% heat with everything off until it ran out of fuel (no heatsinks).
the Py2 checks out, 5a power plant, 5a thrusters, 5a sco, with bit of engineering, sco "cruises" at 66% heat. It does not carry enough fuel for a Hutton run, but might worth to try the T8 with 4a, low emission power plant and 4a thrusters (main heaters). [Edit: except the thrusters, 4a is too small for the T8.]
Now there is the boosted super cruise module it sort of takes the challenge out of it , but it is impressive at how fast it can be done . There will be a new challenge put out now. How fast can this run be done from entering the system to landing the ship ?
i planed on doing this 2 runs non sco and sco timed but i cant recorded till sunday. but im keeping my stellar un engineered and minimal changes and ful cargo. Note: I would of like to see your fuel usage ..
Think of it less as 'buying a ship' but throwing FDev a tenner to keep supporting the game. It's still far cheaper than the monthly season passes for other games, and it's a way to do it without paywalling anything more than an absolute minimum (and even then, just for three month).
Went over there yesterday with SCO on a fully fitted cutter, lol it was a nightmare due to the total weight and fuel usage... gr8 run mate! o7
Would of been nice to see the fuel usage during the run.
Yep, super professional capture from me!

Depends on the SCO drive. A 5C doesn't overheat on the Type 8 for example

im waiting for the big ships
Hopefully over the next few ships we do get a mix of ship sizes and primary missions.

I think it's more of a challenge now; there's skill in balancing heat, and risk of badly overshooting.
You did not force supercruise assist to drop you at half a C. Probably 30 seconds time difference.
Great video!

please stop tempting me to buy this ship :) ....I must stick to my type 7 , .I must stick to my type 7 .....:)

Is the top speed higher with that drive compared to normal. Wondering if you drop to normal will you remain at the same speed
It is yes, FSD tops out at 2001c (ha) and I've seen 7000c + with this one.
No VR in the on foot mode no more money for anything..
