South Bass Island Camping/Lake Erie

After taking the ferry from Port Clinton, OH, we spent two nights/three days camping at South Bass Island State Park campground. While on the island, we toured the town of Put In Bay, biked to Perry's Monument and explored a cave.

I was thinking of going this memorial weekend and had a couple questions. Do you have to reserve camping spots or is it 1st come 1st served? Camping cost?

Is there parking spots at the primitive sites?

Yes. Some within 10 yds of campsite, some maybe 30 yds.
