In all seriousness I think JC deserves the #1 spot because the beats were both bad, but he was a pro player, the commerce was a bigger tournament and he lost out on potential endorsements costing him a lot more than me. RIP to Mike who was a true gentleman to me and one of the most sincere people I have met.
Lol at Hellmuth saying to Vince at 3:31 "what you say was the call of the year I would call something else" lol I mean Hellmuth flips about q-10 "hunny" one can only imagine J-2 lol
good old wpt show, I missed these days when I was learning poker and falling in love with that game. Now the game is kind of "solved", more geeky and way less entertaining to play and watch.
And he had JUST mentioned how he liked the other dude taking his time, lol. Sure it was a bad call, but well, helmethead is full of wtf moments. Of course, no one can understand as well as him. Rofl
that # 10 is pretty much my weekly experience at the local Legion poker tournaments. I honestly thought that that 9 was going to come out on the river for Lawson against Vanessa Russo. Damn, that would have been brutal. lol
@@olegp5421 No, it was not a bad beat. As @Justin Avne said, it's when the money goes in that counts. Nowhere near a bad beat. Even if a small pocket pair hit a set to beat an overpair it's still 80:20 or 4:1 so hardly counts as a top ten bad beat (although that WOULD be a bad beat, at least). Vanessa was 4:1 pre-flop, all the money went in, both hit sets, Vanessa held. Simple story and no bad beat.
THE 2nd clip with the guy with the A10 vs the A8 was sick. the A10 dude knew he was done once he saw the other guys A8 hand PREFLOP!!!!! THATS SICK! he reminds me of me. my gut always tells me before hand how well i will fare, and it usually comes true. doesnt matter if i have a good hand preflop or not, when i know i will win , i win, when i get that feeling i will lose, i lose.
Allen Kessler is a classic example of a person who absolutely should not be playing poker for a living. It doesn’t matter how good you are, you must, above all things have the correct mindset because that is what creates your luck in victory or defeat. If you are constantly fearing defeat like Bellande or Kessler then you always get outdrawn. It’s a science we can’t see so it’s rarely understood so it’s put simply down to bad luck but it happens so often to the same people. It’s energy! We create our luck and if we’re not naturally lucky or feel so, then we shouldn’t gamble for a living!
I think #2 should be #1, or even #5. 31 is bad probability wise, but in how much money was in the pot and the strength of the preflop hands, #2 is more devistating IMHO.
Great video, RIP Mike Sexton THE voice of poker. Forever!

I dont know if you factored that he went out in 5th.
You took a horrendous beat all the same sir, and with good grace. I'd have wept 😅
8:20 Vince fainting in shock at the two outer
Thanks for putting this together. I sure do miss watching Tony G play. No one was more entertaining.
Will miss Mike Sexton
A true legend
No you wont
I didn't realise that he'd died. Shit!! :(
🥳
👻💔

Man, I really miss the voice of poker. The game will never be the same without him 😪
I can't believe Phil Hellmuth was talking about him wasting time. I remember watching the big game and Phil was wasting so much time just to fold
with those fukn queens
And he had JUST mentioned how he liked the other dude taking his time, lol.
Sure it was a bad call, but well, helmethead is full of wtf moments.
Of course, no one can understand as well as him. Rofl
Phil is just giving everyone at the table a chance to realize how amazing he is.
“What you call “Call of the Year”, I would call something else.” 😂😂😂😂

"Honey....he called with a jack and a deuce!!!"
3:11 " *OH NOOHH!* " Hahahaha .... golden!
I still can't believe that guy hit running sevens on that hand! Unforgettable!
6:40 “He’s basically on suicide watch here” lol 😂!!!!
I don’t know 🤷♂️ how many times I watched this I’m dead ☠️!!! 😂
The five on the river is number one, that's just too too sick
#7 was not a bad beat. Vanessa was well ahead when the money got in
But not on the flop. It was still a bad beat .
@@olegp5421 ok dingus

these hands are my normal life on PokerStars....
When he 5-bets at 12:40 and the opponent jams with 99. How is he ever ahead??? Then sucks out. So bad
Only thing I can think is that he thought he was against AK?
"He's basically on suicide watch"
Haha lol

This proves that in a card game, luck always plays an important factor!
"You take a beat like that once in a lifetime" ....more like twice a day on Stars
i think worst bad beat was at a main event, quad aces vs royal flush
Is that phil hellmuth DOING COMMENTARY HE IS LIKE A SKID MARK ON A "PAIR OF WHITE UNDERWARE"?
20:53 looks so much like a greenscreen even though I know its not
8:22 best emote for a bad beat !!!!! heart attack incoming !!!!! comfirmed heartattackk ... 8:32
More like an 8 1/2 -1 fav there Phil
poor second dude. he absolutely knew he was losing before that hand even started. lol
The firs one was insane!!
At 21:50 how can the players not hear the commentary?? Mike and that other guy are sitting like 5 feet behind them.
Lol, that has to be a mix of live commentary and after editing.
Runner 7 7 #1
I agree
Didn't Hachem hit a 1 outer during his win at the Five Diamonds?
Some of these bad beats are actually normal for me. Pretty much get some of these beats on a daily basis.
That first one would've been WAY better, if it'd been Helmuth with the A6. :-)
Looks like a normal evening on Pokerstars
Call of the year?
I have to agree with Phil on this one, I'd also call it something else lol. Man what a bad call 🤮
Don't you just love it when they play bad, suck out then cheer really loud?

The worst bad beat of WPT history was Chino Rheem winning and not being able to pay off his debt
I played with Tran for years. Trust me, he put A LOT of horrible beats on EVERYONE.
So many examples of why you don't mock the gambling gods
That call with jack donk was fkn brutal. What a mope just lost in the woods…stumbles into a honey pot 😅
Mike Sexton at 3:31 was a player at the table and finished 3rd. Date was 25 - 30 March 2013.
Probability of running 2 (out of 3) consecutive sevens on the turn and river is approximately 0,003
You consider 62% a „Top 10 bad beat“? That happens to me 30 times per week
I like how he calls Tony G an Aussie...Tony G is from Lithuania lol
I love Tony g I wouldn't want to play with him but I like to watch him
Shoving against a 5 bet with pocket 9s is crazy
Jesus that call with J2 gives us all hope.
rip mike sexton... i always wanted to meet him and ask him what’s the worst best he ever witness in his life.
If those beats are top 10, I think I am experiencing it all the time on the table and with a lot worse than that
Oh, the irony that Phil says that people are wasting our time, coming from a guy who loves to hog the TV time and hear his own voice.
number six... i was expecting a K on the river.
He should have raised more. Why would make a preflop bet leaving yourself only a half pot size bet left?
The first hand is just utterly utterly terrible omfg
QQ vs 99 is NOT bad beat. No matter what the run out might be. ALL the money went in preflop.
10:54 OH GOD WHY
Harry Demetriou man, never seen someone take an assraping from lady luck with such a happy demeanor. Thats when you know a guy has wealth.
typical day on pokerstars
hand with 37% equity wins pot - top 10 bad beat?
Good point meat wad
I think #2 should be #1, or even #5. 31 is bad probability wise, but in how much money was in the pot and the strength of the preflop hands, #2 is more devistating IMHO.
Wow
miss Mike,,, the best
After a few of those clips I began to think that there is a small hint of a spoiler hidden in the title of this video.
Did the word "poker" give it away
In the words of Joey The Mush, you gotta win your allins
PARKOUR!!!
I haven’t even watched em all but these aren’t that bad of beats. I see worse five times a day
You must be a very unlucky player 🤷♂️
phil hellmuth commentating!
As we all know, 2 on the river does not change anything. Yep, it is a blank, emmm... wait a moment...
Poor Allen man 😢
KK vs. AQ suited is not a bad beat. Standard premium shoving hands in a tournament.
Bad juju not looking at the board for Allen
I predicted every hand. I’m a card genius
In a battle of Mike M and Tony G I kinda want neither of them to win, lol
wrong again phil lol
Funny hearing Phil complain about a meltdown 😂. I'd love to just be a fly on the wall during one of his sessions.
11:00 really isnt a bad beat, he got it in pre bad and lost. I thought a 9 was coming on the river or something. 1 and 2 are truly horrid
Just wanted to offer a happy (S)election day this coming monday.
I don’t feel bad at all I mean on the first video they call with J 2 off suit and they call it bad beat
By mike
First one is a 60/40. Not really a bad beat is it.
Did
What the fuck is Tony G wearing🤔🥴😂😂😂
Anyone got pokerbros
That's just painful to watch

#10 is hardly a bad beat. He just got it all in bad and got a good river.
That's what a bad beat is, losing to 6 outs is definitely a bad beat.
You just described a bad beat
@@samsmith3464 Yes, but it's hardly a "Top 10". A one or two-outer deserves to be in top ten, but hardly a 6-outer.
He had only 62% How can it be a bad beat?! I was beaten several times from 99,9%, thats a bad beat!
thanks for $theta $tfuel
When did Mike Sexton die?
These are idiotic. The first is literally just an ugly race - not a bad beat at all. Dude had ace high
Alan's stupid dance was so cringeworthy after his miracle 1 outer
How the fk you call j 2 off suit
bunch of rookies... lol
This isn’t bad beat it’s stupid play and luck win

Nguyen is pronounced as Wyn or Win? ? Is there a letter W in the word? Ha ha ha....
Basically pronounced either way when not worried about the true accent. It makes the "w" sound with Ngu
