I had set up my channel under my work email, and now I'm thinking about moving companies, and had to get this fixed. I do this with email addresses not used for anything else, but then the risk there is that I'll forget about it or the login details! So difficult...

Thanks for the kind question - I think the adsense is independent, so... Create your wife as an owner and make her Primary Owner Then, I think in the earn tab you can change the adsense account any time. So if your wife has an adsense account you can change that account number any time Or go to adsense.google.com and change the account payment details of your adsense account. I am about to do this, but I read somewhere that transferring the channel to a different account will delete all the viewer messages on my dozen or so videos. Is this true? Perhaps that was an old thread from a bygone time but I am not sure of that. So, fear and caution prevail. Thank you!
Hi - thanks for the kind question. I made a video about this. If you change your RUclips channel to be a brand channel from a personal channel, then yes you lose your comments. But when I transferred the (brand) channel to be run by another email, no videos were affected. So when I did the process shown in the video - no comments were lost. So once you transfer your RUclips channel to another account, when they open their account, when they open their account, they basically can see and manage all aspects of the RUclips account that was transferred just like if they had set it up using their own Gmail/Google account in the first place, right? Also, you won't lose any subscribers by transferring your RUclips account to another owner will you? In my case, I originally setup my RUclips using a personal email many years ago, and I'd like to create a new Google Account/Gmail for my business (photo/video editing) and transfer my RUclips account to the new business Google Account/GMail, but I don't want to lose my subscribers. I only have 119 subs, but still. I don't want to start from the ground up at 0. Thank you for your feedback and the helpful video.

Hi Java - thanks for the kind question: Yes, your email address remains unaffected - this just transfers ownership of the channel. You even have your own personal RUclips channel after this. Hope this helps and good luck with the move!
Cuz of new copywrite licensing laws I have to transfer ownership to my church to run my RUclips channel and have to fully run the channel due to my existing livestreams for my church so my church will be able to properly license our videos so the channel will be transferred under there account right? Cuz I'm creating my own personal youtube channel account with my current Gmail associated with this account after the transfer! I just need to keep my email!
