    My cover of 'Brothers' from the new Ludovico Einaudi album 'In a Time Lapse'. I learnt this piece entirely by ear as the sheet music has not yet been released. All details about what piano, camera and software I use as well as information about me can be found on my channel. Thanks for watching.

    Your interpretation of this song is amazing. People saying that you need to play soft... well you don't NEED to, it just depends how the song makes you feel as to how you play it. I've been self-teaching myself piano for a few years and the love of music and the emotions a song makes you feel are what will channel into your playing and I think that's an incredible thing that we can all express things differently. Just an opinion :)

      Indeed, you can... no, YOU SHOULD play it as you want it, in your own way, in your own style, with your own feelings.
      Just another opinion :P

      People saying you should playing that way or that other way just kill me x)
      Plus, this is a beautiful interpretation,
      Just Another opinion :p

    I sincerely think you play great. I'm only 12 but I've always loved piano music and I learned it since I was 6. I've always loved the way you can express so much feelings in a song and I used to have a piano but it was of bad quality and it broke so I'm planning in buying a new one to learn this and a lot of other songs. I think you play really good and beautiful and I really love the way you play with with that emotion and so perfectly;D
    Congrats from Monterrey, Mexico c;

    That's awesome that you're learning these new songs by ear. I'm waiting for the piano solo book to come out to learn Walk and Two Trees. At this rate, you'll probably come out with your own version and then I can learn them by watching you :)

    Very good, I'd say you need to work on your pedal work (holding notes and transfering fingers instead of using pedal) and the piece was a bit punchy at times, Ludo isn't meant to be played full legato IMO but you can achieve a smooth punchyness as you improve on transfers, see Divenire performed by the man himself. Minimal pedal but legato and punchy

    Awesome Dude. Amazing you can learn these by ear. How about figuring some Einaudi songs where there is no sheet music. Songs like Laissez Moi En Pais, Cerchio, Zhivago, Al Di La Vetro spring to mind. Go on, I dare you.

    well played but you can clearly see that you didn't have lessons from a true piano teacher. your hands are bouncing up and down and your fingers and hands are supposed to stand different. your hands should stand like you constandly have a ball in your hands. just a tip, it wil help

    • @3mmiie
      @3mmiie 9 лет назад +3

      I think it's beautiful and styles vary :) as long as you hit the notes, and it's comfortable, there is no 'right' way

    • @ellenvanderkolk9582
      @ellenvanderkolk9582 9 лет назад

      it was just a tip,I didn't talk about a 'right way' c''mon

      I apologise, it just came off as quite judgmental

    • @3mmiie
      @3mmiie 9 лет назад +2

      I always had problems with playing like you described due to weakness in my joints. Of course, I simply thought it was normal then (around the age of 8), so I would strain myself despite it hurting..
      Having dyspraxia it was hard enough hitting the notes, so when I go to listen to this and see comments like yours, it can be really disheartening.
