I have the gx880. Fun little Camera. The small grip realy helps. I read somewhere that there's a glue on grip for the Lx100(?) that fits the gx850 perfectly.
Yes! everyone loves the GM1, but I think peole who don't have it are more excited about it than people who do, and have actually used it. I had the GM1, GX880 and GM5 at the same time, and I think the GX8xxx is the better camera between the GM1 and GX8xx. The GM1 is smaller, but to the point it's kind of a negative. I dare call it almost "too small". The GX880 was much nicer to actually use, still very small, has a flip screen, better screen, DFD autofocus, 4k video and more. The only negative it has against the GM1 is the micro SD. In every other way I think the GX8xx cameras are better. I kept the GM5, but really only for the viewfinder.
Not only did I get one as a GM1 substitute after seeing it on your channel... when I was filled with GAS at the Fuji X-M5 release, I saved about £700 by telling myself "I already have that, it's called the GX800." 😄
i have added a Sony AG-R2 grip to my 800. It completly transforms the way the camera handles and I prefer the 800 with the Sony grip over the 880 with its integrated grip. Still, I run with the GM5 over the 800 series and the GM1 any day of the week, due to the viewfinder, even if it is small and tunnely. But then again, that is a somewhat spoilt choice.

Sony AG-R2 grip, it works a treat!
Yeah, I had it too, and I've seen proper reviews call the grip useless, but I found it very effective for the small size of it.
That was a great video, Gary. Thank you so much. 😊

Managed to win an auction on eBay for a GM1 and do love it
I have an olympus pen mini. I love it. That is my everyday carry.
I like the GX80 and GX9 more because of the mechanical shutter down to 1/4000s.
Hoping for a GX9II with the G9II sensor in 2025.
Found a gx880/gf10 with the 12-32 and 35-100 on sale for 686 dollars exchanged. Is the price good or bad?

@Janihonkalaxx pre digital I used Minolta CLE and Leica M4P.
I have a GF6, a sort of poor man's GM1, bit bigger and with a flip-over selfie screen.
Lots of enthusiasm but not too much factual information.
Megapixels won't make your crappy photos any better. Back to DPR with you. Shoo. Shoo.
