What would happen if something went wrong?? Got a raft, would call out mayday, hope someone finds you?? You got like a "beacon" of some sort that you can take with you??
I have a life raft onboard so if the boat would sink that’s the back up. Emergency communications are done through an epirb, plb in my life jacket and mob ais. I’m not that far off the shipping lane between Europe and Brazil so a tanker should be able to pick me up within a couple of days.
