Hey. I haven't read any of these ones yet, but if you're still looking for Peter Pan retelling books, here's a couple YA ones I've heard of; Second Star by Alyssa B. Sheinmel, and Never Ever by Sara Saedi. 👍😊
This kind of book talk is so fun to watch XD I like how you familiar with 11 years old kids, sometimes I feel humans are so forgettable, we forgot what we look like as a kid after grown up, so that's why it's so difficult for authors to write about children too. Look forward to more Peter Pan contents in the future XD PS, I finished the Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and really enjoyed it! I read in Chinese tho XD
I agree! Adults are just too far away from that age that they seem to not remember what being a kid was like! That's why I adored J. M. Barrie's version so much cause it was so accurate! :D Colorless Tsukuru was GREAT! I've always wondered what it would be like to read Murakami in another language :O maybe after I get better at Korean I'll try reading him in it :D
I've always wanted to write a script to a movie that goes more into depth about Peter Pans parents and then starts with an old Peter Pan maybe 70 years old going back to Neverland and reliving everything and then he has flashbacks to when he was a kid in Neverland and the movie will be very sad but in a touching way and still having a childhood charm as well as being sad and then you may not like the ending but I want the ending to be Peter Pan passing away in Neverland with Tinkerbell by his side and it saying that the magic will go on even after his death.
Once you read Peter in Kensington Garden and Peter and Wendy, you should watch the video Jen Campbell made about Peter Pan...if you haven't already watched it! :)
i have actually seen her video already though I don't think I got through the entire thing. She talked a lot more in depth about things I wasn't extremely interested in, but I may go back and rewatch it after reading all of the other works involving Peter Pan
I don’t like lost boy. JM Barrie gave a speech about Captain Hook which can be read online and I feel that Henry should have done better research on the characters in general. I won’t get into details. The other books seem interesting
I just LOVED your Video! You go into detail (with loads of enthusiasm) which is so helpful when people are talking about Books they own - Thanks! :-)
Peter Pan is so big right now, it's crazy! Loved your surprise guest star!
PP is definitely getting bigger and I LOVE IT cause that means MORE RETELLINGS! :D
Your love for Peter reminds me of my love for Alice. Really liked this video! :)
Alice seems to be a very popular retelling too! I love Alice when I was a kid, though I haven't read many retellings of it recently :(

I've heard super good things about The Child Thief by Brom and have wanted to read it for yearssssss. I'm pumped to hear your thoughts on it!

I've read Alice by Christina Henry. You need to check that one out. A switch on the Alice in Wonderland story.
I've actually recently ordered that book!! I'll definitely be reading it soon - I was thinking October? as a fun Halloween read? :D
