Sorry that you are going through this, Lisa. I have also been helped through grief by Jayasara's recordings. Loss can be so painful and feel so unfair and as though something has gone terribly wrong with the universe - maybe it has, but the process of grieving is natural, and it unfolds for each of us in its own way. It doesn't feel like any kind of healing, but I am told to have faith that it is. Take good care of yourself and be kind to yourself in going through this. 💚

So extraordinary. To me, he is as good as Longchenpa, who, just a few days ago, fulfilled my life in just 30 minutes. OK, I have to accustom myself to this, but the door is open. Freedom. So simple, but I did not get it until a few days ago (after searching for more then 20 years). I am devastated in absolutely the best way.

    My thoughts:
    I really appreciate this instruction.
Let the thought dissolve rather than grabbing hold of it, turning it all around and commenting on the aspects of it.
Perhaps it’s like with art, there’s a time and purpose for critique and a time for simply appreciating.
But we are still need of concepts to learn to dispel concepts.
Which seems to be why the action of silence itself is preferred. Go where the finger is pointing, not to the finger itself.
Mind processes are like body processes.
We are unaware of their workings but experience how they manifest.
The suddenness of a hiccup had a cause we were unaware of.
It all appears to be part of the autonomic nervous system, and the appearances to us are just signifiers, like the tip of an iceberg.

I never studied a picture of The Thinker, certainly a tormented soul, even his toes are curled like his shoes are too tight, relatable indeed! Thanks for this, it has it's own playlist=with more room (%

Thank you for making time for yourself and relaxing a bit.
Saying it more so in the sense of, shared wisdom is greater, due to the addition qualities of positivity. (On a side note, positivity is a really good word in English, which i dare say, is not confused with another term. English sometimes had a hard time with proper descriptions with few words)

Like, watching a picture, and not verbally attributing it.
Or in kind of a rude way it could be said, once we shut up, we can hear the voice of wisdom speak.

Sweet! My name is a compound of two Pali words. Jaya means victory and sāra means essence or excellent. So Jayasāra means "excellent victory". Samaneri is simply a designation for a 10 precept nun and it's root is from the word "samana" which means homeless one or wanderer. That is, mendicant.

@@SamaneriJayasara Thank you for sharing this, most fitting I should say.. I remember the "young samana" being mentioned a lot in one of my favorite books Siddhartha by Herman Hesse so i am familiar with the term. I wish you every day or better, moment, be an excellent victory over the Three Poisons. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a lot to catch up with at your multiple playlists..

Hi Shenaz, I shall let the Buddha speak for himself on this one. Please find here the link to the first sermon that he gave in the Deer Part to the 5 ascetics after his enlightenment in Bodh Gaya: suttacentral.net/sn56.11/en/bodhi
