- We've got a proper long form poker vlog with SO MANY HANDS to watch unfold. In the mix at the Hollywood Park Casino, and we're hopping through TEN tables of $5/$5NL Texas hold'em, and we're hoping to be on the right side of that California variance.

Thanks for watching. And hello from Reno! Nonstop travel but will be back in Vegas for a MUG this Saturday the 26th. It’s a Halloween party-best costume wins a prize. Cards in the air for $2/$5 at noon @ South Point. 👊🏼
Maybe you’ll win some money to put in your new Moneybands: shopandrewneeme.com/collections/accessories
Link to the poker girl vlog maybe?
Andrew Neeme sorry I trolled you a few vids ago I know this takes a lot of work and I enjoy your vlog
RobbyCrash I linked it in the video. But since you missed it, here it is again. Please don’t leave any condescending comments on her videos like you did here. Thanks. ruclips.net/channel/UCy5ImP_ss_mcJg06UDtDeVA
Great video as always my man
next meetupgame should be at stones, preferably on the RFID table :)
I'm sorry, but, great episode. I know how much more rewarding for you the artistic side is, but the hand breakdowns - and your excellent delivery, much better than other vloggers I have found - are invaluable to me. I only get to play for 2 days every 4 months or so, but I feel that your videos have helped improve my game between each session. Thank you!
Your channel is free poker education. Honest and creative. Absolutely dig it...
You probably dont get this enough, but thank you so much for the videos, awesome analysis and editing! Keep doing what you do best!
Hey Andrew, I’m the guy you i-Ronned at 14:55 - it was a pleasure to meet you (and of course earn some paid air time 😆). Thanks for organizing this MUG!
GG Alex! Fun times.
Andrew, love your vlogs, editing , music, hand evaluations are great. Wish you best of luck, your an inspiration. Keep up the great work!
Nice set of hands review! I think I like your call down with the pocket 10’s heads-up. However, I am not convinced that unblocking diamonds was relevant to the decision. Great blog as always!
A lot of interesting hands. Wonder if the ten on the river when you had the 4's makes that hand even a better candidate to bet and put pressure on middle pairs. Also, Doug Polk would love your use of card elimination on a few hands, like the call down with 10's.
Thanks for coming to LA Andrew! I was the guy who turned over 9d8d on your Queens. Nice to meet both you and Brad.
I should’ve 4b you outta there! GG Sam. 👊🏼
Fun times! Thanks again for the Monday morning distraction! 😍
Favourable intro music! Enjoying more hand reviews in your vlogs, and as always your editing, style and overall feel Neeme. Keep doing your thing man!
Cheers from Canada,
Dylan
having MUG on ur shirt would be understood as something else in the UK lol
I’ll definitely bring it to London in January then!
@@AndrewNeeme When? where? HOW!?
Always a good day when i get a notification of a new Andrew vlog.🤘😀👍
Solders out there to die? No way jose... come back with some more friends! -Andrew N. Love it.
Wow! Thanks for the shoutout Andrew!! I Appreciate you man!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️ 😆 another great vlog too 😍
Nice...an Andrew vlog to help me get through a rainy monday here in Louisville!! Btw, the song playing around 9:45 of this vlog is amazing. Thanks for more entertaining content...good luck and godspeed at the tables. ✌🏻
Neeme you need to come to potawatomi in Milwaukee! Do a couple of fireballs! Fridays nights they do a Rockford charitable games. Its connected to the Chicago one!
Good to see Ryan Fitzpatrick being a good sport about losing to the I-Ron
Hey Andrew/Brad any news on whether you guys are coming to Melbourne, Australia?
No news yet... 🤞🏼
You won't find a better poker room in the Southern Hemisphere! Here's hoping on behalf of all your Aussie fans!
“We’ve already committed...*some* chips???” 😂😂😂😂😂
GOAT
Didn't even realize the Button Blind/Button Freeze @6:20 was a California Only thing. Been playing 15 years in SoCal and had no idea that wasn't common practice outside of Cali
Appreciated QQ hand break-down with it's valuable post mortem. Never nice to lose, nor helpful to indulge in results-based self-recriminations, but in this hand, the results provided the case in point to settle the pre-flop call/squeeze question. Sure, better to have considered earlier how squeezing out initial raiser added enough value to tip the scale in favor of the squeeze, but the lesson is still a good consolation prize.
So “I-Ron-ic” that you had Q2 when you guys had just been talking about it. I completely expected you to say this and you didn’t...so I couldn’t help myself. Sorry for that outburst.
william sharpe not irony
Come to Melbourne Australia for Aussie Millions!!
Hoping to!
Late to the party here...but 15:21 was that Brad Owen or Emilio Estevez in the white collar...? lol
Keep it up 👍🏼 Andrew, Big fan from Saudi Arabia
Nice, interesting video as always, especially the hand analysis for amateur players like myself !
Just picked up a shirt and hat from you man. Stoked for them to come in. Plan on getting a hoodie soon. Hope you come to florida soon! Would love to play.
You should do a Mugs shirt like a concert tour schedule or make shirts for each Mugs use location and dates
how often are calling this bet at 9:05? Doesn’t feel profitable to me.
Exactly what I was thinking. When I head him say standard I was expecting standard fold lol.
I came to write the same thing. May call 1/5× when running hot. That was weird
If the diamond comes theres a very good chance you can get most your opponents stack. I'd say its standard
A half pot bet with a flush draw, in position? What am I missing. 🤔
@@AndrewNeeme rewatched, thought he bet $75 into $80 not $75 into $140
Andrew, could you give an advise ? What months are best for grinding in Vegas ? What about november, december? Maybe you can recommend locations to grind during winters if winters are baaad in Vegas?
Always an awesome session when those signature hands see play, like Q2 and the A4 birthday hand! Love to see it. :) Well played for being born on the Ace. I just have a 10 and a 6. Whenever I play my birthday hand I wish I had been born on Ace King instead. But it's nice to give a gift to your opponents to celebrate your birthday too. At least that's what I tell them when I don't win.
Positive Vibes From San Diego California 🙏
I made a cameo appearance at 26:35 lol.. I believe I purchase Andrew's and Brad's Moscow mule. Both are really down to earth guys. See you next time in LA. @MayorofValueTown on IG lol
Nice call on the K52ss. How would you play JJ/QQ here?
Hey Andrew, love your channel. Can you tell me a little more about what you mean by "California Variance?" I live in, and almost only play in LA and sometimes Palm Springs area. (LA games are definitely tougher in my opinion.) Do you mean that players are more likely to "call" in Cali, (Ha!) with bad hands which causes the variance to be affected? Thanks!
Rapid fire hands. This was fast paced and looked like fun. I think you make better comments when going fast.
Why is it that so many pocket Kings seem to be a magnet for a random Ace on the flop? There's only four of them, right? Maybe only three or two left if at least one player has one. Just amazing to see one on the flop so many times. Of course, the sure way to avoid an Ace on the flop is to have one in your hand...
Thanks again for coming to HPC. Hope I will be in town the next time you are there. Good luck in Reno!
Your shirt should say MUGs and mugs with a beer mug on it lol
Excellent as always. Thank you.
27 min vid. 14 hands. I gotta get a drink ready!
LA certainly one of the best places to play pokers
4b or fold QQ, unfortunate spot sometimes.
Not your best intro....but the sheer amount of hands makes this a top 10 vlog. Thanks for all your content sir!! 🙌👍👑
So you post your yearly spend vs earnings? All the travel and money you get from the vlog? If you weren’t recording this would you have left after you were up five hundred? Do you have an amount of money or time limit on your optimal game before you stand up and walk away? Or a set amount you’ll lose?
Any reason you open 4x as a standard but 3x with the straddle on?
Hey Neeme, it was good seeing you in person. I was on the table with the Gold Card, the table you ate at but didn't play many hands lol.
You had yourself one hell of a game yesterday there andrew "arodg" neeme.
Sharing a bday with Neeme. Good company for sure
2:52 KK vs. AdQd3h flop 4 way -- if it wasn't LA, would you still call down? I wouldn't c-bet multiway, but after LP bets into that flop, I'd fold in 2/5. Best I could hope for is that my calling would make him hate the kicker for his Ace and he'd just check it down, but I'd never call a turn barrel in 2/5 if I called the flop.
I need to find out where to get some merch for when you come out to England bro
If you did 4b the QQ from SB, and BTN 5b, what’s your play?
He's calling with 9s
At 1:06 it sounded like you said "could be a swing in either errection." Lol
Solid vlog! Nice meeting you!
If your small blind on the button are you first to act or last to act?
Act as if I’m actually on the button.
5-5 with max $500 buy in. Seems low (max buy in size).
89 of diamonds missed a value bet on the river. Against heros qq and ak
Kinda hard for 89 on a 1 straight liner board to get value. The only way that would be possible is if Andrew is losing his mind (bluffing a lot)
Najee Firefox but really who’s gonna have a 7 there? Nobody
@@yeayea4072 Most of the time you're right. (Small percentage of the time someone will randomly pop up with a seven) Anyway like I said before 89 is rarely getting called by worst and Andrew is pretty much force to check his QQ, since too many hands beat him for him to value bet the river. I do wonder will 89 fold to a bluff by the AK, because It could had worked against Andrew?
+500 @ 1st table then -450 @2nd table but hey at least you got a beer out of it 😩😂😂👍🏾😂
Good vid as always. Checked out Ps & Qs....adorable....nice ref.
Reckless bluffer, omfg almost woke the kids cause I burst out laughing!
I play online, but I like that live read wrt the ~400 jam from that guy on the back door straight board. 👍
im shitty for just now noticing this but my birthday is January 4th as well!
That KQ off hand call of the 400$ all in, whbe they slide you the chips it looked like you just hit a roulette number lol
Enjoyed how long the video was
When is next mug at Hollywood park?
3:00 "The turn is another ace. That removes a lot of aces that he could have." Nope, my dear friend, just one. Love your Vlog, keep it up!
he means it removes a lot of combinations of aces (one third of them)
Yeah, shut up, Shelly, until you learn the lingo.
MUG. shirt = no quads. Back to FVRBL next time ! 😋 (and some very interesting analyses 🙏) see you on Saturday! PS follow Andrew’s suggestion & check out P’s & Q’s RUclips channel.. she is fun & it’s awesome to see her becoming a solid tournament player. Trying to convince her to join at Graton for the MUG in November
Your KJ of Spades vs the 96 of Spades is a classic example of why you should raise on the flop, and put in a definitive bet on the turn
Andrew: In the hand where you have QQ in the blind and EP raises to $30 the "button" 3-bets to $100 In general (especially in LA) where players are wider on the button his range should also include JJ+ AK AQ AJs KQs in which its a clear 4-bet to $200? Don't you think??
@14:08 "off to see a river" - is this a wizard oz joke
"what is that a genius?" xD 26:55
Come on, Andrew! You know kings are ACE magnets!!!
Other than scaring the two-pair winner of the last hand with a large four bet, you didn’t mention any strategy for sussing out two-pair hands. Any suggestions?
Correct me if I’m wrong but the hand where you had 98D he bet $75 into a $140 pot,you called but in this spot you are only getting 2:1 odds so you shouldn’t call here? If he bets $35 you can call am I right?
You’re only taking into account direct odds, there are also the implied odds if you hit your hand which means you can profitably call with hands you would otherwise fold
And it's closer to 3:1 . Calling 75 to win 215
Rule #1: Implied odds are infinite in California.
Thanks for the responses! I just think I would fold here, you can’t make a straight, you can’t have top pair, the direct odds aren’t good and even your flush isn’t particularly high if it hits plus can’t you get value when it hits...but folding is boring right :)
"Betting against me in non-skill games. Not a good idea." LOL. Prop bets are Favorable[TM]!
We have that weird dead button thing here at Winstar (just outside of dallas). Please come visit, i know i have said this 1,000,000 times
Keep posting 💯
Nut low? In which game?
Last hand, soon as button checks flop, hand is face up... AK every day of the week
Cool Andrew, Im a January boy too..same day as well...
When are you coming back to Detroit!? Would love to come to a meet up game
Captain Ki @5:50???
Why flat call the Queens but 4-bet jam the Kings ? This time it was obviously wrong but I don't want to be only results oriented. Was it the stack sizes, positional ranges ( SB vs EP and Button vs SB), a live read, or just that Queens aren't quite as strong as Kings? Are you ever 4 bet bluffing with a a weaker holding with blockers, say AJ, KJ. Thanks for the time/effort you put into the VLOG. I just subscribed.
“have some pocket kangs”
23:50 seems like an easy river bluff for $280
Your beer looked good. 😋
“California variance”? Is that a real thing because I really have been running terrible lately hahah
Oh it’s definitely a thing.
How to get in touch with you for a business proposal?
Run It Up in Reno!
Andrew last episode you said you want to grow and move up the stakes to 10/20 and I was expecting that here :( What happened?
I went completely broke in a matter of 1 week. Ah well it was a good run.
Andrew Neeme i keep count of your bankroll since day 1 of your vlog. You are not broke
Andrew how do I get in a meet up game
Guy was just talking about Q2 when you pick it up? How "I-Ron"-ic!
Not irony
@@jamesoconnell3281 using "ironic" ifor a play on words, to wit, I(sraeli)-Ron-ic who famously loves Q-2. That it isn't actually precisely ironic, but close enough to how it is frequently misused to allow for the pun, WHICH imho merited more than a pedantic note on accurate usage, So betting therefore that u missed it. So there! lol
You have to be +EV with all the free drinks haha
I am a simple man. If I see a tumbnail with KK on it I am clicking
I think you said nut low? nut low would be A3.but the 8 qualifies you for a low if you were playing pineapple or hold them high low. which 8 would be the worst low.. other than great vidio..
Pretty sure that weirdness with the button isn't a CA thing everywhere. I don't think I've ever seen it where I play. But each cardroom has its own house rules and own local regulations to comply with.
I keep wondering where ur stack is or how much u are up or down thru out the vid.... just sayin.
44 vs 99 - Soooo many hands you might be up against. Yeah, a bluff might work some of the time but... very easy fold for me with a small pocket pair. Set or Jet! Lol
No dead button at STL too.
