As an American, I have always admired Sergio’s game especially in the Ryder Cup.
Great video ! Sergio is all class! I was lucky to meet him last year at the Desert Classic in Dubai. He was walking past and I asked if it would be aright to grab a photo and he was so accommodating. He smiled, said no problems, took my phone and he took the photo of us both. He did not have to do it. I was prepared for him to keep walking by, which I totally would of understood as he is a busy man, but he graciously said yes and made my year! What a champion he is on and off the course! I am working on shifting my weight to the right leg on the backswing without swaying or lifting up and then striking the ball on a downward angle to improve my striking. Thanks for the content. Seeing Sergio mature has been very satisfying. Winning at the Masters lifted a huge burden.

A great drill Sergio gave you. It's definitely easy to see you that change you spine angle (from a down-the-line view) from your set-up to the top of your back swing. You still seem to strike the ball pretty well though. Another thing I've noticed is that you seem to keep your weight on your left foot and your left shoulder above your left knee throughout the whole swing. Try loading more into your right side in your backswing.
Enjoyed this a lot, Garcia has always struck me as a classy guy and this confirmed that.
That is a great vid. I am 58 and came to the game 3 years ago. I am also aware that I am not getting the distance from the tee. I do not have a bad back but have terrible posture (lifetime hunched over a keyboard) and am always fighting that rise and fall. Will give Sergios tip a go on the range. Thanks.
Working on my iron ball striking, especially with the long irons, also becoming more accurate with the shorter irons. This vid definitely helped to give me an exercise on how to improve.

Great video I’m working on my driving can’t seem to hit it straight
I also lift up on the backswing, no back problems but I’m short and I think I developed it to make myself taller to gain power when in fact I’m losing speed and consistency. I’ll give the 3 balls ago for sure, I’ve been trying to get my left shoulder pointing down to right heel but having trouble with it.

I've got the same swing fault that you do because of a bad back. I raise up in the BS and then raise more and early extend on the DS. I'll try the balls under the feet drill. Thanks!

Hi Seb, I’m only 14 years old and I be been playing golf for 2 years playing off a 15 handicap. My game has come quite naturally to me however even though my ball striking is good. I have an over swing which puts all the power in my back swing and not in my down swing affecting the distance of my shots. I’m currently working on this at Redbourn golf club (close to the centurion in Hemel) and improvements on the end will decrease the extra wedge shot! Or putt! Seb On Golf might sound a bit odd but I put a pen in my mouth and I try and make the pen stay as still as possible. Unorthodox but does the job 🏌🏻♂️

Great video Seb. Well done you. Love watching your journey. So want you to go for your PGA qualification. What about it? Just changed my grip and swing path! Massive changes. Used to play off 7 but then became a dad. 15 years later now off 12 after joining a club again. Last 2 years for me have been incredible. Currently usining some beginner grips on some old clubs at the range to get that grip consistent. Movement of hip rotation is a major factor in my swing now.

Like you it is to be more consistent with ball striking with my irons, particularly at times it hit too thin on long irons and too fat on pitch shoots. The rest of the time its no problem ;-))
