It really is a beautiful guitar - every single bit of it is so well manufactured. Sounds great too! Damn shame I had to return it to its rightful owner. Boo!
Very nice! I've always fancied a Duesenberg, they always give the impression that everything's been tweaked and refined just enough to make it different from the usual stuff without being too outlandish. And they sound great too.
Thanks for another interesting video. Great sounds. And I like the end tune enough to learn it. Embellishment of rock chords sounds wonderful. Best wishes for end of year and 2025!
Brilliant. I’ve played two. One felt like a toy and the other was a machine. These are pretty popular in the modern worship music world. Some sparkle reverb, a splash of delay and more triads than you can shake a stick at and you’re on your way!
Yeah, I found myself really gravitating towards nice clean tones on this one (although it very much does rock too). It's a really well built instrument, with fantastic appointments. It's a real shame I have to hand it back to the rightful owner!
Magic info again Dunsy like the overdrive you put into this toon really effective, like the whole sound mate. See you soon hopefully dude 🤘have a rocktastic Xmas.
Always fancied the alliance Mike Campbell variant of the Starplayer TV. I think it has the same pick-ups as that Caribou. The Art Deco look of the tuners, truss rod cover all look great too.
I've got a Duesenberg 49er that I hadn't used for a while - I got it out the other day and restrung it for a jam session - I'd forgotten what a great instrument it was!
So many sounds on this guitar sounds like my Rickenbacker 360WB (Old 360 shape) but with the wang bar and the way it handles crunch- I'd love one. Heard so many good things about this brand. Cheers.
If you are looking for a guitar that truly is the perfect blend of Gibson and Gretsch style, combined with Fender style, I believe that Duesenberg might be the best guitar for you (if cost is taken out of the equation of course). They have the meat of a dual-humbucker/P90, semi-hollow Gibson or Gretsch. But the full 25 1/2” scale length, and choice of woods, gives them that classic Fender attack and bite. They truly have a unique sound that stands out among all the other electric guitar models/brands. I always want an ES guitar, but then I always find myself wishing they had more attack and clarity for my taste. Duesenbergs are the only make I’ve found that gives me that sharp attack and brightness, while maintaining the fullness of an ES guitar, or a Gretsch.
Lovely guitar Dunsy, and what a shame it needs to go back to its owner! ☹ I have to say that a good semi or hollow body guitar does seem to always have a more melodic personality. I hope you don't start obsessing too much (the old bank-manager would probably disapprove LOL), but to add to that nagging voice in the back of your head saying: "Buy one, buy one soon!" I will say that the music you made with it was beautifully done, and when a music-making tool gets the creative juices flowing you know you are definitely onto a good thing 😄 Have a very cool Yule Dunsy, and thank you for keeping us all entertained and informed 🎄🎅🍷🎁
Apologies for the delay in replying Ian! Too much Festive Spirit! Yeah, can't believe this one has to go back - a really nice instrument. Best wishes for 2025, Sir.
I’ve played a few. They’re immaculate and built like luxury instruments. They’re similar to Yamaha Revstars. Nothing wrong and everything right about them. Exceptional guitars, but most still prefer Fender and Gibson.
Great review. Great playing. I'm seriously thinking about getting a Caribou now. Really nice guitar. Thanks Dunsy.

Sounds like my harley benton hollow body $200. Nice effects and great tunes you sold me Jock
That's a cool looking guitar. 🤘🤘🎸🎸🎶🎶
Yeah, a really nice instrument - great to play and a super sound.
Magic info again Dunsy like the overdrive you put into this toon really effective, like the whole sound mate. See you soon hopefully dude 🤘have a rocktastic Xmas.
Thanks buddy - hope you have a braw festive season. A beer soon, most definitely!
Wow !!... This sound ...
Always fancied the alliance Mike Campbell variant of the Starplayer TV. I think it has the same pick-ups as that Caribou.
The Art Deco look of the tuners, truss rod cover all look great too.
It's a great combination of the P90 and HB - so many great sounds. I'm really impressed with this instrument, every part of it is so well made.

Thanks for checking it out - I'm blown away by how nice an instrument this is.
Dunsy that’s a cool guitar man 👍
Looks simular to the one Jonny Depp uses in the aftershave advert 🍺
A lovely instrument, DL - wee bit above my budget, but I would say definitely something worth considering if someone is looking at 335's etc.

Total agree with all that - I really enjoyed having a loan of this instrument. It is so well made and just a fantastic all round guitar.
Sounds good - useable neck pickup too !
It's braw!
Noice guitar, even the switch tip is a bit special 🤓
I though the same - really well made instrument, classy.

Swanky! I had a bandmate who played one. Sweet guitar for sure.
I’m so impressed with this one - the workmanship is incredible. A really nice instrument.
👍🏻👍🏻

Totally agree - I was blown away but how well everything on this guitar is made. Even the control knobs are fantastic.
Looks good. Sounds good? I like it.
Thank ya! Yeah, a lovely instrument.
Hi Dunsy! Where do you buy all these guitars?
This one isn’t mine, buddy - just have a loan of a few guitars at the moment.
Aahhh ok. Thanks! 🙂🎸
What a fantastic video have a great weekend dunsy and also I will quit RUclips in 2025❤😊
Oh no!
Love the sound but don't dig the look at all. It shouldn't matter but I'm a superficial guy lol
Hey, I absolutely would not want to play a guitar that I didn't like the look of too!
