- Air Canada become one of many Canadian airlines to operate to this part of Oceania after Canadian Pacific and Canadian Airlines. So beautiful, Canada´s flag carrier
I'm glad they sent the new livery to AKL not many -9s have been painted up. I wish I could have made it yesterday unfortunately I was working. Very beautiful video I must get to AKL and film it
Thanks mate! Hopefully you make it up here for their -9's.
Great catch! Always nice to see an inaugural.
Thank you! Indeed.
What have they done to the cockpit windows... or is it just the black paint around the windows.
Yep just paint
It's part of their livery. It's Air Canada's own version of the A350 racoon eyes.
Thank you for catching this , superb quality as always, love that black cockpit area.
Thank you! It looks really good. Adds a bit of 'spiciness'.
Very Excellent filming Air Canada’s Inaugural 787-9 arriving from Vancouver! :) Since Air New Zealand will launch nonstop flights to Toronto very soon Air Canada will very likely launch their own nonstop 787-9 YYZ-AKL flights.
idk where u found out that AC and ANZ are going to start fling YYZ-AKL but there is no information on that whatsoever. I don't believe it
Thank you! Air NZ currently have no plans for Toronto but maybe one day.
Stunning video mate! The AC livery is nothing short of outstanding!
Thank you very much mate! Absolutely agree, beautiful colours.
old one was better in my opinion because it was a mint colour not just white and if they tightened up the decal on the old one instead it wouldve been great but this one also very sharp
Yo, really nice video out there with a beautiful Air Canada 787 all the way from Vancouver! I'd love to see British Airways as the next Western airline to launch 787 flights to New Zealand, but I doubt that it'll happen anytime soon given that they might have more challenges to face in launching services there compared to N. American airlines. Still, really cool video mate! Regards to you!
Hello, is it ok if I use this footage for an upcoming video? Awaiting reply, thx
Here is the video at ruclips.net/video/1zqYdMOSX6s/видео.html and its a video of this aircraft doing the inaugural flight to Tokyo Narita from Montreal.
Noice
Awesome video liked.
Cool
Forgive me but why does Air Canada have to seek government approval to continue operating this route in 2020? Haven't they sought approval to allow them to operate this route as long as profit and demand allow for it?
They're current operating license allows them to operate until March 2020. This was always originally going to be seasonal to test the route and that's what they applied for. Air Canada made it known that if the route is profitable that they would seek approval to continue seasonally or year round if it suits.
@@MiJiTHD Ah, I see. Cheers mate!
@@MiJiTHD Its a seasonal route and Air New Zeland is doing it year round.
Coz Air Nz does same routing regularly. Air Canada was approved to operate seasonally only.
