@@TheeRealJasonMonttana You're welcome. Which position do you play? I think the QB situation and the offense is the major question for NIU this season. Given how with Rocky Lombardi the offense was run up the middle first, nothing like the triple option or veer offense. The passing game was nonexistent. So I didn't understand how Rocky got signed to the Bengals. He might do better with the UFL. The running back game is great for the team, just need to see if NIU can win the Walker with Brown. I can see Brown being draft steal in the future.
@@the1magageneral323 listen man I’m a DL guy but watch out for Hampton he’s a good QB and watch out for Antonio he’s a baller don’t be shocked if he goes to the draft, the offense is ramping up to a passing game
I think the big three teams competing for the title are Miami Ohio, Toledo, and Bowling Green State. The season finale between Miami OH @ BGSU may end up determine which one of those two wins the East
Question which MAC player will be either an award winner or surprise draft pick? Currently Miami of Ohio has pro players on the roster. Toledo standout WRs. NIU might have a Doak Walker winner with Brown.
Hmm... I'm not sure how you missed that there is no East & West divisions anymore in the MAC. Looking back now from the end of the season, you were accurate about the bottom of the MAC (Kent State) and only one of your top picks was correct. I have to admit Toledo, Miami, and BGSU looked good on paper, but last year's performance rarely carries over to the next year in the MAC especially in the age of the transfer portal. Northern Illinois and Ohio were who I thought would be at the top this year. I thought it weird that you predicted good things from EMU and Ball State -- two perennial bottom dwellers. But the biggest thing you missed was Ohio dominating the conference. With the exception of an early season loss to Miami due to key players being injured, Ohio went undefeated in the conference, winning all of their last 6 games by 17+ points. Their season was crowned at the end with the total domination of rival Miami in the championship game at Ford Field (38-3). What do you think of the removal of the East/West divisions? I like it. Now the two best teams will play for the MAC Championship instead of the best team and possibly a weak team from the other division.
Would be nice to finally see OU crack the MAC and win one. I don’t think any other school has gotten to a conference championship game as many times in the last 15 or so years and lost as many as Ohio has.. Ohio has lost all of them actually and it’s annoying.
@@scooby-doofan1849 they've won the regular season title the last few years, but havent won the conference tournament or made the march madness tournament in almost 45 years
Your wish came true. Ohio stepped up after its one loss early in the season. They dominated Toledo in the Glass Bowl, smothered Ball State at Peden in the snow, and embarrassed rival Miami in the conference championship game. OU? Oh yeah!
1. It’s no more impossible than it was prior to NIL lol and 2. In theory it could be leveling the playing field. Now literally anybody with boosters who care about the team with money could fund NIL. Players can get money from ads etc so every team in the country can play players when before only really the huge programs could get away with it. The transfer portal is honestly a bigger threat to small schools than NIL is
They came close. They needed to beat Miami in their last game. They probably still would have lost to Ohio though -- although most likely not as spectacularly as Miami did. 😂
As a born and raised Ohioan now living in Texas love me some MACtion
Honestly I want NIU to win the MAC to prove that their recent championship was no fluke and that Thomas Hammock can win big games.
Bro I’m a player there thank you I appreciate it bro fr fr he’s a great guy

Well, you were right about the last part but you were off on who was gonna win it all!
Good Job young fella !

NIU might have a Doak Walker winner with Brown.
Maxen Hook at Toledo
Toledo might be the best team. Toledo 2026 recruiting class is in the top 25. Their future is bright.
If Jason Candle stays, great coach coming from a LU fan.
I went to Miami OH, miss those days
Was that during the Rothlisberger days? Miami was good then.
@@gwilli I got to see Rothlisberger at least once, if not twice when Miami came to play OU!
Nah during the years where we didn't win a single game, before Chuck Martin got therw

I can’t be the only one who knew everything about buffalo because of MrHurricane’s series with them
It's not the "MAC Conference". The C in MAC stands for Conference
Also, it's MACtion, not MACTion. Why would the T be capitalized?
