@@tomaschristopherbangalter I mean that if you ask most wrestling fans over a certain age (say 35-40, when Muraco was around) I wouldn't bet on many of them naming him as being one of the best. I mean that in a good way (if that makes sense) most people would say Flair, Hogan, Piper or a few others. His wsi podcast was amazing, sometimes rewatching old videos with a certain degree of hindsight really makes certain guys stand out. Same thing for Bob Orton Jr, watching as a kid I knew he was good, but looking back, everything he did was so smooth and effortless.
Compared to what I was seeing during that era in places like Championship Wrestling from Florida, Stampede Wrestling, Mid-Atlantic Wresting, Mid-South Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, World Wrestling Council, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling this was dull, slow and plodding.
Man back in these days Big John Studd ( John Minton), used to do the sportsman show in my home town and he was the most polite ,well mannered intelligent gentleman you'd ever want to meet. But sheeeiit was he BIG....!

I was seventeen in ‘83. I always thought Muraco was awesome. I was just fishing around RUclips enjoying his brilliant promos! I appreciate his MAGNIFICENCE 100x more than ever.
