    That really stinks, Randy 😡 they were jerks not to be honest about what they did. Nobody gets away with that stuff.
    I will never use that company!
    You just keep being the kind-hearted soul you are - you bring much joy to many 😊 🎉

    Wow! Sorry to hear about the broken glass. The Amusement business is a grueling, challenging and way to make a living. You to have physical, knowledge, passion and love for in coin industry. Thank goodness Randy… you still feel this after so many years in the business. I wish you healthy and happiness always. Keep up the great work!!

    Dang. I bet if the camera guy was available, he would have noticed that broken glass as he took his pick up shots of the machine. You would have saved yourself some tip money too! Wow. What a day.
    Oh, why wasn’t that glass removed and packed separately I wonder?

    • @MainStreetRANDYLAND
      @MainStreetRANDYLAND  3 месяца назад +1

      Typically glass ships best in its frame.
      Clearly this was pressed into on the side moving something next to it and broke the glass.

    When ever I am going to haul an arcade machine I always put in a blanket so I can put that down between the floor and the bumper of the vehicle so that there is some padding and less damage to happen.

    • @MainStreetRANDYLAND
      @MainStreetRANDYLAND  2 месяца назад +2

      @@PinBallReviewerRepairs actually the blanket covered the glass so that handlers didn't know it was glass and pressed into it.
      If it wasn't covered I do not think it would have happened

  • @SlippinnnJimmy
    @SlippinnnJimmy 3 месяца назад +2

    Oohhh, I get it. Whoever packed it didn't secure plywood over the glass. It only had a soft moving pad over it, making the glass invisible to the shipper and vulnerable to pressure. Still, slipping out without dealing with the damage is unacceptable.

    • @MainStreetRANDYLAND
      @MainStreetRANDYLAND  3 месяца назад +2

      The white glove shipped actually wraps the item on pick up
      The shipper only provides the item, and they come, prepare it, wrap it, protect it, and load it.

    Randy, that sucks. There's no way they didn't see that. Problem will be that it was signed for. I hope you can get resolution for this. Nobody seems to have integrity or pride in their work anymore. You're a class act in my opinion, and it's a shame that people don't have the work ethic you do. Keep looking up!

    I once had a Saia Motor Freight driver deliver a large media printer to my dock literally in a smashed heep, and just glare at my face without a word as if *I* had wronged *him.* They totally demolished that printer in route and it was even palletized. He became particularly offensive about it, too, instead of just apologizing and saying here's how you file the claim.

    Oh, Randy -- how heartbreaking and frustrating! Can i tell you about the time a coked-up non-English-speaking truck driver TIPPED OVER SIDEWAYS AND DROPPED a shrink-wrapped pallet of 100 boxes containing 1,200 glass encased vigil light candles -- you know, like from a church, all filled with wax, a total of 2,500 lbs. -- off the end of his truck and almost killed my helper, who was trying to hold the load back while screaming, "No! No! STOP! It's all GLASS!" The load fell on my helper as he ducked out, and he got away with just a bruised shoulder and leg -- and there was glass and saran wrap and torn cardboard and wax everywhere -- while i was left standing there in horror, having just signed the bill of lading to accept the shipment. Fun times, eh?

    • @MainStreetRANDYLAND

      SO sorry to hear that
      Things can never really be replaced like that

    • @ulexite-tv
      @ulexite-tv 3 месяца назад +2

      @@MainStreetRANDYLAND That's right -- it all went to the landfill -- there was no way to fix it. Since then, we have paid extra to have the candles shipped to us by the box by UPS. We had to raise our price to the public, because per-box shipping does cost more than shipping by the pallet. but in the long term, it is just a few cents per candle and we are happy with no breakage -- and a trusty UPS driver we have known for almost 20 years versus a continuously changing cast of rogue truck drivers on drugs. . .

    Oh, oh, oh I am having the same reaction as you are. Unbelievable. It's too much as you said. Destroying the gorilla game and now this without much time in between to calm down is streesful. Those delivery goons need fired. Period. You pay forvwhite glove treatment you get it. They have dirty hands. I know you cant do to much today being Fri but on Mon I hope you can drill down and get exactly what you want and deserve. There were 3 guys like these ones who delivered a stove fron Lowe's and they bent ot and broke the handle and left. Then they lighted up a joint in the truck before they left. A new stove was delivered, replaced and not by those 3 goons. No charge for anything except the cost of the stove. It took much barking at people to do the right thing and finally it was in my facor. People dont want to be held responsible. They push, shove, excuse behavior that is inexcusable. I know eactly how you feel. It's like don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining.

    9:19 wacky inflatable Tube men of course I had to do this pretty sure others have but still couldn't resist!
    I remember that time that someone had done that Minecraft television that was something absolutely like wow.
    Also with animatronics I'm going to be in the near future doing some things hint hint I'm an adult fan of Lego.
    I'm going to be doing some things like for example the band playing along what's a piece of music you're eventually a Orchestra most of this would be pretty much minifigure scale.
    Also have plans to do things like for example perhaps for Christmas one year having The Nutcracker Suite playing out not just the band and everything but having everything happen on stage.
    And being able to shuffle in the different scenes and write down to the curtain opening and closing it and even stage lighting.
    Of course using the old and some newer Hardware increase the Lego education computer interfaces.
    Easy way to do all everything sinking everything up in control and of course with the music MIDI of course it can be Donald alongside digital audio sink top and even some things being called for sound effects and such if something already works and already exists such as the midi protocol use it.
    There is so much there that's for me it would be untapped potential.
    With the channels such as the switches and much more in the middle midi protocol and since basically the number of interfaces are essentially stackable doing more than just 16 channels with multiple interfaces.
    Basically just since able to as commands essentially would be the equivalent of saying burning something from a punched tape
    4 hour later on everything synced to in some way to reel to reel tape or otherwise.
    One of these days is also hope to have a Lego RUclips channel once I have the means to do this and things get further really getting up there on my skill level regarding some stuff that most people would think would be impossible to do in in Lego.
    For example 100% Lego with working Plumbing fixtures and much more!
    Including the recirculating water system utilizing pneumatic tubing for roller / parasitic pumps 100 % Lego yep turn the faucet handle turn sound to pump working sink in a bathroom model intercourse light bar simulate exhaust fan with what looks like the heat lamp and the other light all working through what looks like actual wall switches mostly power functions
