I remember hanging around at the Casino pier in the 1960's all day long, while my family would be at the Casino pool for hours and hours. I for sure were an Arcade rat back in the day. Love the tickets and ticket machines. Such a vintage touch for the Retro Arcade. Loved the video and your way of thinking. Keep up the great work!! Hope your feeling well.
This has become one of my favorite channels. Greetings from way up in the northern end of NJ. If I make it down to Wildwood, I'll be sure to drop in. ☺
I thought you left out the Hooray because you knew we would say it! Glad you did okay with your surgery. I saw ticket eaters like that when I took my kids to Chuck E. Cheese. I think they’re all cards now. I imagine they implemented those ticket eaters to save time and labor at the redemption counter. You can hire less kids to work it. Let the customer do the work! Thanks for the in depth look
I like the old school as well. Seeing the tickets coming out and hearing the rip of them. It seems society is forgetting the small things. Me and my family just left from visiting on vacation, and we are soooo sooo disappointed at all the card swipe arcades. They charge a dollar to play (bills only no quarters anymore) and if you use their card it’s only .98 cents! It’s so scammy It’s just sad. Retro arcade and Randy land will be my family’s favorite in wildwood forever. Part of our yearly tradition will be to support his arcade. None of us ever bought a card from any arcade. Only played at randyland! #QUARTERS WELCOME! lol
@@MainStreetRANDYLAND lmaoooo I literally laughed out loud at your comment but it’s soooo true! Every single card swipe arcade was 99% empty. Sure, you can charge 5$ per game with your card swipe but it doesn’t matter if nobody plays! Haha
I was not myself recording this as I was heading to the hospital for heart surgery the next day... I expected not to get back, and I was just recording a few episodes more while I could .. I guess subconsciously I wasn't in a hooray mind...
@@MainStreetRANDYLAND - I wouldn't have been in a hooray mood either. Wasn't aware you filmed the day prior. You're a good actor, Randy. Would've never known. Glad you're feeling better and on the mend
Always FANTASTIC! Great machines.

Very interesting. I never knew they had ticket counters. Hope you are doing well.

That is pretty interesting. I wish you would have shown some of your prizes. Thanks for sharing
Congrats on 7 tickets!
I've been at places where they would weigh the tickets to count them.
