- Learn how to craft a stunning, beachy, hanging car accessory. We will use all glass beads and a clay starfish bead. You can purchase the kit with everything you need (tools not included) to make the exact piece we will be creating in this video. Otherwise, use your own beads and embellishments to craft one to your liking with my technique.

Follow this pattern to for bead placement. You can always use your own pattern even with the kit.
Start with approx. 16-17" of wire.
Fish tale bottom-- seed bead--large clear glass bead--small pearly round bead--alternate turquoise bead, clear bead, turquoise bead, clear bead--larger pearl bead--seed bead--turquoise bead, clear, turquoise, clear, turquoise starfish bead--clear bead, turquoise, clear, turquoise, clear--larger pearl bead--seed bead--pearl bead--turquoise, clear, turquoise, clear, larger pearl bead-- crimp tube. End.

Hi! Thx for your question. I’ve added 2 links to Amazon where you can buy each stringing material and the crimp beads. Just copy and paste. Basically the beading wire should be stainless steel and the crimp tubes should be around 1 mm. I make mirror charms & glass beads can shatter. I made some with glass beads & my friend had a hard stop & the glass beads hit the windshield & shattered. You might want to re-think this medium for safety & liability reasons.

Cute. Here in the UK, your car will fail a mot test if you have anything hanging off your rearview mirror (take it off before you go for the mot)
