Insanely comprehensive, up to date video, commentary is concise and easily understandable, subbed!
When i first got an 11th gen laptop, I didn't realise the power of the iris xe graphics until a year after i got it... it was surprising to say the least.
It's a built-in graphic that produces higher performance than I imagined, but it's much better to have an external graphic. 😅
Bit unfair there, The XE graphics in Intel 11th Gen traded blows and was highly competitive with the onboard graphics on the Ryzen 7 4800U. Both were used on the GPD win Max 2021. While Yes Intel's Drivers prevented be a clear victory and sub 10W the extra power demand on the CPU hurt it but the graphics portion (CPU the Ryzen was far more efficient) it still did out perform AMD. Above 28W AMD had no answer and performance flatlined while the Intel you could continue scaling 35W+
These XE graphics seem pretty good tbh, any reference to older Intel stuff in the video is the HD and UHD stuff.
i love my iris xe i5 1334u
I think it heavily depends on what kind of cpu you are running. In this case it is an i9 H series processor. I have laptop with intel iris xe but only an i5 u series processor of the same generation. Although I can play several games released in 2018 and before that I cannot run the new AAA titles at all even with the lowest of settings.
The CPU will affect results.
i like these Iris just thinking about laptop with that XE 96 execution units but these prices ... almost all laptops are overpriced or overspec some have 1440p even oled with vega 7 really insane
I wouldn't mind a laptop with Iris graphics tbh
I just got a new i7 labtop with iris xe, i need to try more video games on it. @TechLabUK
If Intel's this good, imagine AMD
We will be finding out soon 😉
I beat Kingdom Come Deliverance on a Razer Blade 14 using integrated graphics lmao
It was running at 15fps in 480p, but I beat it!
Sweet!
Does the intel uhd 600+ get the same issues in black mesa?
Not the last time I tried them but it has been a while.
When he said greatest games I thought he was gonna show rddr2😂
Not even close.
About rdr 2 its working low 720 40 fps
Could you test Arrow lake desktop CPUs Alchemist iGPUs with 4 Xe Cores on Emulation and triple A games.
When I get one you know I will. Unfortunately we do not get sampled things like that, we have to rely on community Memberships and Supers etc so it can take a while.
@@TechLabUK No worries, sir.
@@BravoSixGoingDark As soon as we get one we will give it a good test 🙂
Intel issues with graphics drivers? No way! lol
They are just terrible at it. TERRIBLE.
Reminds me of ATI at the turn of the century, especially for mobile chips. Meh.
They are getting better quite fast although I suspect they are pushing most the updates and changes into the next Arc generation.
@@TechLabUK By not supporting their previous gens, only they get is people like myself who says there is no way in hell I am going to support them. Just saying.
@@TrusteftTech Updates will still be coming out, I just think they will be different now. Maybe more like game specific updates like the others with all the real performance enhancements being focussed on next gen. I don’t know for sure but it feels now like the a770 and a750 have kind of hit a limit.
Eventually Intel will have the best drivers. They actually have a team of software engineers that address game issues reported by users. And I'm an AMD fan boy, so for me to admit this, it takes a lot.
@@glennt72 Well since I have been around since the 70s, I think I will wait for Intel to first create the best drivers and then believe in it. But you do you. No problem with me.
why do westerners pronounce the letter H like that ?! (HATCH!) !! its supposed to sound like (ITCH!) !!...
it just turns out people pronounce things differently across the globe.
