The best solar company in Australia just installed my new solar system.
Check them out here: www.resinc.com.au/electricviking
I am using Deepal L07 in Thailand (or SL03 in China). Want to tell ya it's a great EV at a fraction of a Camry/Accord's price. Plus, I installed solar on my rooftop and halve my monthly electricity bill by 50% despite owning an EV. My gas bill is zero.
Those who used to afford a Suzuki goes to either Neta V, Ora Good Cat or Dolphin. Those with a Merc/Camry/Accord would go far a Tesla. We are already tired of going back to the gas station.
Those who have bought at least one EV will never go back to ICE again unless that guy is insane.
Look forward to Electric Pick-up Trucks! Tonnes of Toyota and Isuzu trucks were repo and are sitting in giant lots.
Greetings from Thailand
Nice Comment Thank You. Here in Groningen Nederland the Same.👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹
I have 2 tesla. Never going to buy an ICE car again. I can fill up for like $5 Instead of $60. I don't have a ton of regular fluid changes that cost >$100 each. No brake pad replacement.
@@KidHorn7001 Thank You 👍❤️🌹
@ahphong, Just bought a 2024 Honda CRV hybrid to replace her old CRV at 1.5 million Bhat because wife likes Honda. I will be buying a new BYD Seal for myself for less than her new CRV.
High Quality Low Prices. And Electric Cars for Clean Air Blue Sky Health Better Life. Of Course the World wants Chinese EV Cars.👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹

@@mihailprokopenko6174Why? Chinese EVs are just offering more choices… And Chinese ev manufacturers are building factories in foreign countries, also bring economic growth 😂
@@Sparkle0523 Because their attitudes are unhealthy.
After decades of monopolizing car industry, Japanese manufacturers made a big mistake. Underestimating Chinese ev.
Out of 2.79 million cars exported by Chins, 2.19 million cars were ICE!
Not just underestimating but rather having stayed fat on the ICE profits and never innovating showed their way out the biggest market in the entire world for atleast 3 out 5 of japanese makers so far and very soon Honda Nissan and Toyota will fold like Mitsubishi Subaru and Mazda.
They have no tech nada when it comes to PHEV (NOT HEV which is a crap btw) and BEV (FEV sure but IDGAF about it)
And paying a hefty price for it!
They put their eggs in the hydrogen basket. Hydrogen is dead.

For a simple reason: better quality at the same price, better price for the same quality
Forcing other car companies to improve. The customers vote on purchase.
When companies compete, customers win, and the US cries
They're so afraid of Chinese EVs that the only thing they can think of are import tariffs

I think the tariff plan is already lost. The current plan is to block the Chinese OS in the cars.
@@doordsthe Chinese will use their own os.
Good, China doing well here.
In the first six months of 2024, they exported 2.79 million cars, a 31 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Second place in this ranking goes to Japan, which sold 2.02 million vehicles abroad-0.3 percent less than the previous year.
*Although electrification is gaining momentum, the majority of vehicles exported from China are still internal combustion cars-2.19 million.*
China exports a large number of cars to Russia, almost all of which are ICE vehicle.

Read my message. China exported 2.19 million ICE cars!
@@jetli740 Russia is the most oil-rich country on the planet. They have no need to be subsidizing EVs.
The fact that the world's top auto exporter is also growing at 31% YoY is insanity.
That's good! The car buyer wins.
Good for consumers no matter which country you're from.
But if u love China wats wrong with that? I'm not an Australian but I love Australia, not the government, though.

So true. A country is not equal to its government.
China is a totalitarian communist hell hole police state. I’ve been there. Have you?
Yes Geely is great cheers mate
Thanks Mate!
Yes. BYD (strength in its battery tech) and Geely (it’s car making experience). But also SAIC, and Chery as they have longer history of making cars. In electronics and software, it’ll be Aito (Huawei) and Xiaomi with their superior software and electronics capability and talent, not to mention deep pockets.
Everybody but Toyoda saw it coming.
Waiting for china EVs in the US, otherwise I'm driving my old car
Same.
Tesla is a Chinese startup investment to boost US economy due to trade deficit, in a nutshel Tesla is a Chinese rebranded Ev that hit the global market. Brace yourselves for the second, third, fourth and fifth waves lol
Elon Musk is just a businessman outsourcing the best Chinese tech... And the irony is that everyone think he is a genius lol
Big follower of your channel. Good reporting quality and fact in here.
BYD will replace Toyota globally.
South east Asia has the significant impact Chinese car brand overtaking Japanese brands... it’s alarming
As costumers, the competition between manufacturers is good 😂Not matter which side wins
This idea in the west that only elite drive Mercedes, BMW and Audi in China is completely wrong you will see farmers and street vendors driving them (no disrespect to farmer and street vendors) and unloading stock from the boot of these cars. These cars have no prestige in China anymore. BYD is going through the process to sell cars in Pakistan which means they will start assembling locally like GWM, Changan, MG and Cherry and many other legacy automakers. Very profitable market the mark ups are huge on the condition the cars are assembled locally otherwise the import taxes are huge for new cars.
I don’t understand how Chinese can manufacture affordable EVs while European and Japanese can’t…for sure it can’t be the labour cost only…but from a consumer point of view if a product is good and priced correctly it should not matter from which country they come from…
Not an expert but I'm pretty sure I've heard that it's because China can manufacture almost 100% of the EV. From the batteries, motors, to the leather and screen on the dashboard -- are all sourced within China.
Pretty easy to understand, actually: high subsidies, low social and environmental standards
Japan is unwilling to give up their ICE supply chain.
On the other hand, China has established a perfect EV supply chain.
BYD as an example they make most of the thing themself so cut out the middle man, with vertical integration every part cost is greatly reduce. but most important is they invest huge amount in automation mean faster less waste.
back to automation. some PORT thay have require less than a dozen people to operate where normal one require hundred if not thousand of people working on it.
@@leoniebachmann2677 you wrong on every level. you not seen their factory have you? or understand how they can produce a product cheap.
subsidies for ev end 2022, If CN subsidies everything where they get money from?
China brings cheaper cars. Waiting for the optimal BYD Seagull or similar (with sodium batt;) If we didn't have too many monster killer 4WD/Utes in cities (the need to pay much higher tax), the safety would be appropriate with majority small cars, so the Seagull would be cheaper without upgrades.
Japanese car companies became complacent.
Toyota will go the way of Honda, Mitsubishi and Nissan. 😊
Unprecedented demand for unbuttoned white shirts and blond hair dye
Great car , really want to own one 👍
The US doesn't ban Chinese EVs. It just puts a 100% tariff on them. So, are the Chinese manufacturers going through the process of having their EVs, or at least a few of them, meet US DOT certification? Safety regulations mostly. Then perhaps a few will be sold in the US and driven around to show the US consumers what they are missing? I could definitely see a demand for the EV super cars as wealthy US buyers will pay a lot for a unique car they can show off.
100% = indirect ban
@@ChroniclesXposed No, not a ban. You can buy one if you are willing to spend twice as much. And I think some people will be willing to.
@@alanhall6909U.S. policy toward Chinese cars is hostile and unstable. When Chinese cars are willing to pay 100% tariffs to enter the U.S. market, U.S. policies may change in a more stringent direction, such as requiring the sale of U.S. branches to U.S. companies.
If Chinese EVs are so tofu and their economy is collapsing, why bother blocking them with tariff. I even have my doubt about Tesla self driving. Not sure I would pay the money for it subscription. Isn't most Chinese self driving free?
It’s called ‘dumping’.
“I’m not a communist shill”…3 minutes later “These are the Chinese companies I’d recommend to invest in…” 🤔🙄

First second hand Tesla M3 under 30k advertised in Australia a few days ago.
Hopefully this trend will continue.
Where is Tesla
You're not talking UK are you? I'm in a major English city and I drive up to 80,000 miles a year. Except for MG, I have not seen one Chinese car on our roads.
Uh Sam you have reported many times how the Chinese were not exporting a lot of cars and how worrisome that was. Well now they just started... of course it went up 32%... which is actually paltry given the massive over production of EVs in China. It should have been like 300%.
It just shows how countries are so far behind on their housing having charging availability.
If I had to point at one thing to explain the reluctance of EV adoption it would be electrical charging availability in rental property.
Many more people in the Southern Pacific area live in rental properties.... apartments.... having little or no access to EV charging. Sure there are exceptions but overall it is painfully slow changing.
Until govts around the world force (and financially make it possible) for apartments to install charging infrastructure for all their tenants, EV adoption will not reach the hoped for percentages first envisioned.
90% of China auto exports are ICE. Please keep up?
Most Chinese ev brands will go down also. Only about 30 of them will flourish.
Thats the plan.
The same story happened in the photovoltaic industry.
But this will not affect the surviving Chinese manufacturers to dominate the market.
As a socialist country, China fully accepts "free competition, survival of the fittest". On the contrary, the West is afraid of competition.
30 is way too high. I see 10 or fewer surviving. The US went through the same thing in the 1920s and only 4 were left standing in the end.
Only the strongest will survive. Good for consumers.
how many Tesla where exported?
Have you looked at the Vietnamese car maker Vinfast Auto Ltd? If you have, how do you rate them?

I beleive what i see... And yes i see more EV's this year on the road then ever! But also more bigger ICE cars... SUV's, Trucks even Muscle cars.
Electric Viking, maybe you should make a video on why China is selling so many EVs in China. In other words, you are basically forced to buy EVs in China due to very high registration costs etc to buy an ICE car, subsidies for EVs to make them cheaper etc. Not a single Chinese EV maker makes money on their EVs so the fact that sell more is not a good sign. It only shows that the Chinese government is losing a lot of money on these loss making investments.
I have driven the byd atto 3 and MG 4 they look and drive well but look at china" history in manufacturing its all poor quality and nothing lasts thats made in china. Why would you gamble with your 40 or 50 grand on chinese cars knowing their track record of making desposable goods ? china prevented foreign companies to own and produce in china with a majority stake, the same rule should apply now that china is more advanced in this technology, they can produce and sell in the west with a minority stake, very fair and logical
