Even with the hole in the deck, that's still in great condition! It's nice to see people appreciate cool stuff. I also like the old '80s-'90s Toro mowers for their many benefits and build quality.
Sweet it's alive! Working on resurrecting my 14SE. Need to get a deck once it is running. Plus bad news on my end: The oil filter kit I ordered for my 14SB was lost in the mail! I am furious! Trying to track down another one now.
Awesome video! Its nice to see these mowers still are around and will be for many years to come! I'm looking at a 14sb on craigslist but not sure if I should jump on it or not.
Hey man I got a rare 14SBS but the owner ran it with no oil but i was able to replace the engine with an different spasm lubricated fc150v es18 engine fins good with same carburetor that you have on your mower good video man
I have the same mower. Starter has never wanted to engage even after cleaning the gear on it. Anyone know why? I'll sometimes engage but other times it'll just spin and not hit the flywheel
I'd use 10W-30, but I've been running regular 30W in these mowers for over a decade, so It really doesn't matter. The dipstick should have written on it the type of oil to use. Also, for the oil drain, there is a brass nut that is hollow on the bottom right corner of the engine on the side where the throttle is. That's the oil drain.
Where did you find the oil filter kit for yours? After the one I ordered was lost I still haven't been able to find one for my 14SB. Searching high and low for one. Pretty sure my local Deere dealers don't have them. Plus they would charge a ridiculous amount for one if they did. Plus I don't want to take the one I have off the 14SE because it is very close to fully running.
My dealer was able to look up other dealer inventory across the country, and found one for sale. I can't guarantee anything, because I know Kawasaki isn't making the kits any more. So basically, I have no idea where to find another one. I know I paid a pretty penny for mine.
JD Tractor Thank you for the info! There were 3 this summer, 2 on ebay and 1 on amazon. That was the one that I ordered and it was lost in the shipment process. So yeah the USPS has one somewhere!
This mower is the last mower you will ever buy they last forever with the kawasaki engine keep up the great work, I have 2 of these fantastic mowers.

Bu I like the way you design
Great video, thank you
That's great to see it running! I plan on using mine in the fall for leaf cleanup

as long as the motor has compression and the deck is fairly solid, I would do it! What's the price?

Offer $250. $300 isn't bad, but if you can get it lower, I would. That one looks worth buying though.
That's what I was thinking as well. Especially since the front left wheel is bent.

Any way to bypass blade clutch?

when I go to change the oil is there an easy drainage point on it and what oil would I use on it if I live in the North East?
