Hi Ed. That valve stem that is partially plastic,Do you have plans to make it all metal ? You mentioned yourself if it is broken just order a new one.I hear they brake often 5-6000 shots on .25cal & up to 1000 shots on .30cal. This is the only reason I have not bought this gun yet.
The metal valve is too heavy and increase the time of opening the valve, thus increase the air consumption.The valve itself cost only 15 euro, so replace it is a 15 minutes work. If you have warranty you will get it for free. In .30 we will make the metal ones as the air consumption is not the critical point at this caliber already. In .22 and .25 we changed the design of the valve and I hope it will las much longer now.

I have only KITs for Matador R3 now, the only difference is the way of barrel fixing. So, one can cut the part of the front breech of the KIT and use it for R2.

Easy way, can be delivered with the weak spring and the strong spare spring. Just change them and no problem. In .22 up to 45 Joles, in .25 up to 75 Joles.

TheEDgun i've read that the D16T is close equivalent to 2024 grade aluminium alloy in Europe and west. About wall thickness, you probably use 3,5mm successfully due to the threadless fittings in reservoire. Thank you for answer.

Valve stem problem existed since day one for years now with .25 cal. & more so with .30 cal. I do not think Ed has a solution, all he is doing is experimenting and hoping that some day it may work out. There is something wrong with that mentalaty

It is Russian D16T, I have no idea about West analog. The outter diameter is 38 mm. the wall thickness is 3.5 mm.

WTF! An over 1.5k air gun does not even come with qualified screws! The 2 screws on the end of the bridge are irregular! Now no tools can remove them!
GUN SMITH What screws are you talking about? All the screws used in the gun a standards ones, you can buy them in the shop.
