Can someone please just tell me what happened to the GNU after 1994? What is different this time around? THEN, the stepson of (seemingly all) governments, the Eastern Cape. The bacon-saving province of the cANCer, and yet when it comes to service delivery, there is none in general. I live (without fear of contradiction) in the filthiest town in the country. It looks like a pig sty. When approached for assistance a few years back, the DA kindly informed that we as residents must remember that the cANCer is the ruling party in our area. As official opposition the DA also have representatives in our are. Was that not an opportune time to show the voters that the DA is worth their weight in gold and do something about our dire situation? I have lost faith in all political parties in the country. Gone are the days where voters voted for parties that their fathers and their fathers have voted for. It is just so difficult to make an informed decision with politicians prone to blatant lying. Who do you believe. Yes, it is not all doom and gloom. I have seen prosperity too where the DA governs. Let us hope they will jump on the bandwagon and start performing in the Eastern Cape as well.
