this was truly an amazing performance. you probably can’t tell in the video how loud it was but my ears were ringing for hours after the show. towards the end of the show, I CAUGHT KEN ANDREWS’S GUITAR PICK!!! While being present at their show in omaha, i felt even more of a connection between them than i ever have ti 2-3 years i had been a fan of them. seeing them in person made their music and everything i knew and loved about them made it a once in a lifetime experience! i had discovered this band in the beginning of 2020 from the pop trio Autolux because Greg Edwards was the guitarist of that band. When i found failure on apple music and listened to Stuck On You, i could not stop listening to this band. they bring such an atmospheric sound mixed with heaviness as it is dreamy. such a unique sound. although this band never achieved the peak commercial success, they inspired many waves of mainstream artists such as paramore, mastodon, tool, deftones, and MANY others. the band’s whole discography truly deserves way more attention. this band has completely altered the way i digest and respond to music as a whole and it has done the same for the waves of bands that were influenced by the band! Their live performance is one that i will hold on to for the rest of my life!

Duuuude failure destroyed my ears too, I saw them at Trees in Dallas. I guess Failure is just a really loud band, nothing wrong that that. I've been a fan for not too long but it too was amazing to see them, it felt surreal.
