Winter wild camping on a snowy Glencoe mountain top
A high pressure system was in charge for a few days and after the cold snap and snow fall, I decided to head out for a winter wild camp.
Forecasts said it was to be the coldest night of the year with temperatures as low as -10. Weather was great, got blue skies, sunsets, sunrises, above the clouds and also a shot of the northern lights ( aurora ).
Been wild camping up Beinn a' Chrulaiste before but this was first time in snow and freezing conditions.
Amazing experience and got some nice snaps an video sequences.

Wow, earlier this week I was mentioning the CMD/Ben Nevis being one of the best videos but this one is up there too! The Buachaille really is a photogenic mountain and Beinn a'Chrulaiste has been added to my to do list, Thanks for that.

I did, I loved it! I'm looking forward to my own little wintery adventures soon, though I don't have the dedication you have for filming, so it'll just be a few snaps for me. Please keep on posting your vids. They are a great inspiration. Maybe I'll see you out there on the trail one of these days.

Two sleeping bags and a audible story book to get me through very long nights . That's the only trouble with winter wild camping is really short days, and internal frost snow can get stuff damp if doing a few days. Its a fantastic feeling being warm and snug in the most unlikely situations.
Absolutely amazing these words do not even come close to describing this place Excellent vid and pictures mate... thank you.... if peaple don't get out and do wild camping after seeing this It would be shame

Great man! Did the Scottish national Trail in May-June 2015, mostly sleeping in tent, but I´m sure, I won´t be brave enough to camp on the top of a mountain in winter in snow! :-)
