Yeah but you know if it was just character specific supers we'd only see like 3 characters in any competition. The custom combo is broken...and everyone can do it.
Yeah, my friends and I banned Custom Combos, mostly in Alpha 3, and it turns out it's one of the best fighters ever made. Totally different game. It's easier to ban in Alpha 3 because you can just ban V-ism. Whereas here, you have to ell people not to do it, so you end up with situations where someone does it accidentally, and how do you deal with that? We'd just let it run out, go back to neutral, and keep fighting. The Player who activated still gets punished because he loses all of his meter. But if he actually hits the opponent after activating, he forfeits the round.
you really could take all the player base from the tourny now and do online tourny for the older games regularly as long as the community supports it. That pot you had, you not getting that at no big tournament and you the name to bring everyone in. you should go for it wong, run the old games weekly with pots like this, of course you would get sponsers an payout from ads...bruh break me off lol
Alpha 2 is like a perfectly grilled medium-rare/medium steak seasoned with lemon-pepper. It's good, it's simple, its life affirming, it's all you really need. sometimes you want something with a little more zest and spice so you play other games. It's fine because if you get tired of spice with no substance and just want a basic good fighting game again Alpha 2 will be there.
This just reminds me that Capcom got rid of Guy, Rolento, and Sodom just to add Abigail. They could've literally done anything else if they just wanted another big guy (Hugo, Hagar).
Yeah, I'd take Guy and Sodom over Abigail and Cody, and Zeku too. If they could make Cody play more like his Final Fight version it would be better, like with good target combos like the ones Guy had in SFIV.
Adon seems pretty meh in this game huh? I love how his CC looks and wanted to learn him to play this game but he seems a bit limited compared to the gods in this game
