I agree it would be very difficult to define construction manager. My hospital Rehab dept was under construction for 16 months to replace AC/HVAC,all pipes and electric, all without closing the dept The CM not only had to work with all his workers he also had to work with the Rehab Admin. to make sure the patients were safe, work around the therapy schedule, make sure dust and debris were contained, keep noise to a minimum and a thousand other tasks.
Well, whoever you are talking about in this, you can guarantee they make a lot of fucking money and you need to go figure out how they do it because it’s hard to get into medical construction
My dad has a commercial drywall company and I’m his daughter, I’ve been helping him at random sites but he hired me as a laborer! I’m learning a lot from your videos keep it up!
No you dont need to be one You could worl for one who does general contracting work as their manager . A contactor does the work or facilitates it But for sonebody who is well put and values their time, they hire a manager and they focus on the business
Usually start by working in one of the trades and getting familiar with the flow and process of construction and all the moving parts. There’s also a lot of courses available at community colleges as well as you could always start out as an assistant superintendent in the field on larger projects helping out the guys running them.
@jdthnt lmao bro you would crumble in 1 day being a manager. You don't have to be responsible for sht and your on another guys insurance. Get your life together maybe you'll see some success.
My guy…you are way too young to NOT BE DOING WORK. You literally don’t do any work. You drive around, eat lunch on the laborer’s dime, and you call it a day.
You sound like a hater 😄. I started laboring at 15 and me or anybody on any crews I worked on woulda jumped at the opportunity to be a project manager. And we put it down but fuck that why not use your brain and get paid if your skill set allows it
You aren't smart. You literally could not handle being a manager. Clearly you've never done any work or you'd know how stressful it'd be for a 20 year old to run your million dollar projects.
@jdthnt you must be jealous a young kid was smart enought to become your leader and somehow you are always working at someone else's company on someone else's insurance.
Is called project manager it is a must in bigger project
